Good morning Bill and all.

Hate to think of you sitting there feeling lonely Bill, we're all here or will be soon enough.
  3:11am
Looms:

Hello Bill, Martyn and everyone.

Bill Mac:

Hey Gents, thanks for the sentiment, Martyn. Looks like a sort of minimal start for the show today. I'm liking the vibe so far and no worries, it will pick up soon. Memorial Day weekend here in the states, so I get Monday off from the grind... woo hoo!
  3:23am
Brian in UK:

Hey Bill, Martyn & Looms. Hands across the ocean.

Gimmee gimmee gimmee... does it have cheese in it?
  3:34am
Brian in UK:

Something that blew me away when I worked for Royal Mail was the fact that there is no maximum weight for First Class post. So in theory, the scales are the limits (back to fish). The Fuxa title reminded me of this. Also Flaming Lips song 'A Spoonful Weights a Tons'
Looms one of those huge bowls of hot chocolate, please.
  3:34am
KP:

Working late. On train now. With Rangers out of it after tonight, maybe I'll get back to reg sked, which is still pretty late.

I felt like losing brain cells while trying to understand the meaning of Normand L'Amour's song. Why does this guy does talk to a doorknob?
  4:11am

hey bill any chance of plying something with the word sun in the title as the day is so blue , after all the rain we have had
  4:17am
Looms:

I need to know more (the song was brilliant, Bill)
  4:22am
Looms:

Normand L'Amour is 81 and started his comic singer career in 1998. Seems he's quite popular in Quebeck.
  4:24am
Looms:

(there's no K at the end of Quebec but shush)

KP:

I'm not a rangers fan. "We" cover them. Working around clock is what happens when sports seasons combine. Im just getting from that.
Avatar 4:27am

@looms-Did you figure out whether the song was funny, or at least quirky?
  4:28am

Brian in UK:

Only The Bonzos could fit tourniquet into a song.

All you need is cash. Cheese & onions, a marriage made in heaven like garlic & olive oil.
  5:05am
Brian in UK:

Jay, good luck for 19th. Hope this is the end of the road. If you know what I mean.

I think Galaxie 500 did the version off the Shimmy Disc tribute.
Avatar 5:13am

I never heard the Rutles version of that tune. Apologies to those that take offense to me double dipping in Bonzos territory.
Thanks Mike, it's been awhile since I've seen that comp. It's got to be here in the library.

  5:44am
Brian in UK:

Jay 'Do Not Adjust You Set' was the precursor with Bonzos & Monty Pythons.
  5:46am
Brian in UK:

Andy always had a soft spot for Rainbow Chaser by Nirvana (UK) for phasing; limited lifespan though.
  5:46am
Jay /London:

@ brian i am also painting the outside .. well after the show of course
Avatar 5:50am

It might be a dated effect but I always thought it enhanced the theater of what was being played.
Have fun painting guys!
