  12:13am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Based on your earlier tweet about "Match Game" should we expect to hear a Charles Nelson Reilly track from "Hello, Dolly!"???

Welcome back. I hope you had a fantastic weekend off.
Avatar 12:16am
Therese:

Evening, alll! I hope you kept Julie company while I was away!
  12:17am

  12:43am
Julie:

  12:43am

Avatar 12:43am
Therese:

Indeed. RIP Richard Dawson.
  12:45am
Julie:

he was so cute on Hogan's heroes
  12:46am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

  12:47am
Jon Solomon:

RIP Richard Dawson, Match Game panelist. He is survived by [BLANK].
  12:47am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I watched "Match Game" often as a child. When I see it as an adult I get the jokes.
  12:52am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

When my brother was a child he loved "Hogan's Heroes." He thought Schultz was particularly funny. That led to the following exchange:

FAMILY FRIEND: Ben, what do you want to be when you grow up?
BEN: I want to be a nazi!
MY PARENTS: [uncomfortable laughter]
  12:53am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Ben was four/five years old at the time.

Therese:

Jon- if this were Facebook, I would click LIKE on that comment.
  12:56am
Jon Solomon:

I am pretty sure I just reused a joke from when Gene Rayburn passed. Good show tonight! The White Hills track was unsettling.
  1:00am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

According to the LA Times obit Dawson and his widow met when she was a contestant on "Family Feud."
  1:09am
Julie:

therese's single file!
Avatar 1:11am
Therese:

Really? I wonder what she thought of him kissing all of those ladies on the show?
  1:16am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

FROM THE OBIT: His son said the tradition started almost by accident; "There was a girl on the show who was very nervous, and my dad was trying to calm her down. So he said he would give her a kiss for luck, and he did. Then when he went to the next female player, she said, "Well, don't I get a kiss?' That's how it started and it just became this thing."
  1:20am
Howie Mandel:

If you do a fist-bump you'll stay healthy forever.
Or blow up a latex glove over your head. Ladies love that and it really calms them down, too.
  1:24am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

"The Running Man"
  1:25am
Bob in DC/VA/Wherever:

Running Man!
  1:26am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

He got to one-up Ah-node's traditional catchphrase...
ARNOLD: I'll be back.
RICHARD: Only in reruns.
  1:33am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Who would have been less entertaining on "Match Game": Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens?
Avatar 1:37am
Therese:

Dawkins, definitely.
  1:43am
coelacanth:

Thanks,BadGuyZero.I DO recall that show..My father had these early playboy mags influencing me & i thought,"oh.That's what british playboys do.They drive XKEs & kiss all the women,& everyone Loves them."
  1:44am
Joe D:

Ghost World!!!!!
  1:46am
KP:

  2:12am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Therese, if you have never seen "The Band Wagon" you need to ASAP. It's a fave movie musical of mine.

(I've got musicals on the brain tonight)
Avatar 2:15am
Therese:

BGZ- I have not! I will seek it out.
Avatar 2:16am
Therese:

(and I have musicals on the brain more often than I don't.)
  2:22am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

It's not streaming on Netflix, but you can get a 48-hour rental for $2.99 at Amazon Video. Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse directed by Vincente Minnelli, and probably the only Mickey Spillane-inspired musical sequence you'll ever see!
  2:33am
KP:

Therese you know what was awesome. Annie Get Your Gun with w/ Reba McIntire. Plus Larry Storch was in it.
  2:45am
KP:

Natural Bridge, biggest waste of time ever!
  2:45am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

That "Singin' In the Rain" scene is watched by Woody Allen's character in "Crimes & Misdemeanors."
  2:47am
KP:

Richmond has great indie station, WRIR. They played us!
  2:47am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

So it was like being in one of those "we'll sell it for you on eBay" stores.
  2:54am
KP:

Hiltons? Great tip. Going down next month, had not planned on quite that far. The first time i saw Johnny Cash june and her sisters did a Carter family segment, magical.
  2:58am
KP:

Night, Therese, tell us more about Hiltons next week.
  3:00am
BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Great show as always, Therese! Have a great week!
