Listening via the 128k mp3 stream.
  12:11am Richard from Venezuela:

Greetings Therese
  12:11am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Where are my manners? Good evening/morning, Therese and everyone else.
  12:14am KP:

I thought this was the Carter famlly at first! Sounds great
  12:34am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I take it that it wasn't the Cash Cab.

(yes, I know Cash Cab is no more)
  12:35am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I thought "Whistling Past the Graveyard" as well. :)
  12:37am emmagineering:

  12:38am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Congrats on not going anywhere! :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am Therese:

Evening, all! Thanks for stopping by.
  12:57am KP:

OMG! Im listening to wrong stream! It's "Echoes" type music on another station. I thought you left the studio or something. Ugh long day, went to the Escovedo concert, Greayt but long day.
  1:10am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Just don't ask about the Trachtenburg dog.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16am Therese:

I would never!
  1:22am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

My brother had a similar phone mishap as yours. He placed it in a bag of rice overnight and that absorbed enough moisture that it continued to work. I don't know how much time passed from *splash* to rice burial so I can't guarantee similar results for your phone. But file the knowledge away should {heaven forbid) it happen again.
  1:27am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

This sounds like it could be a Cure demo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29am Therese:

I tried the rice method, and then I remembered that I sprung for AppleCare, so a new phone is on the way!
  1:35am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Well that's good news!
  1:39am BW:

Good morning errr good evening - just stopping by

  1:41am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Aah...X O Dus. I was thinking Exodus and expecting something VERY different from this. :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42am Therese:

No one will be doing the Toxic Waltz on my watch. Not tonight, anyway.
  1:52am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

While I am not surprised that you know what the Toxic Waltz is I am still elated that you referenced it. :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57am Therese:

Thank you! I am always glad when I can call back to my metal past.
  1:58am BW:

I wanna be the king!

The new Paul Williams documentary, Paul Williams Still Alive, is great.

Great show, Therese! Listening in the Flatiron.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06am Therese:

Ooh, I need to check that doc out! Thanks for listening Mr. Pidge! And give my best to Mrs. Pidge!
Avatar 2:07am Pidge:

  2:18am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

I need to see that Paul Williams doc. Someone was commenting about it during Julie's show last week. I busted out a pic of my Paul Williams Slurpee cup. Paul wrote or co-wrote most of the songs on "The Muppet Movie" soundtrack. That 8-track didn't leave the player in my family's Datsun for a couple of years.
  2:23am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

One of the places I lived in Seattle was also inhabited by what I've always assumed was one of Matt Groening's relatives. We didn't have individual mail boxes so all mail to the building ended up in a bin in a communal area. Every now and then there would be a piece of mail [usually the size of a VHS tape] addressed to a Groening and with a return address label that featured Simpsons artwork. Yes, I was sometimes tempted to make sure there was nothing harmful in those pieces of mail. But I feared there would be a fate worthy of "Treehouse of Horror" awaiting me.
  2:24am BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

That was right around the time of the Best Show's Four Loko Christmas episode.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27am Therese:

Ooh, that was another drunk-tactular!
  2:28am bw:

Therese - great show to wake up to! Bridget St. John perfect for dreary French morning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29am Therese:

I'm glad that you're enjoying it, BW! Hope all is well in France...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41am Therese:

Please say that his daughter's name is Harriet and that the article references Sham 69's "Hurry Up Harry."
