Hey All! Thanks for tuning in! Jeff Wagner had to postpone his Peer Pressure appearance for this week; I'm drivin' solo, look out!!! :) Next week= John Ricci of EXCITER- he's not live, so if you have any questions, you can post here today and I'll ask him in pretape!!
  12:15pm joe:

  12:21pm Andrew Waterloo:

@joe, oh cool.. I just got a ticket for Swans
  12:23pm joe:

I was thinking about going to that. It's the same night i have to take my wife in to NYC for Morrissey but I'm just worried it will run a lot later then the Morrissey show and then she will be stuck in midtown (which is only fun if you don't live with in a 2 hour drive of NYC :) )
  12:25pm fred:

Good afternoon Diane. Fun cover
  12:36pm Cecile:

  12:37pm Babbler:

Please ask John Ricci when Exciter will play NY again! I haven't seen them since 1985!

  1:02pm Cecile:

  1:06pm joe:

What is it with Gamma Ray and Helloween with the swing songs? I love um
  1:09pm Cecile:

hahahaha joe.
I remember someone asking the Metal Sludge groupie columnist if there were any good groupie stories about Helloween or Gamma Ray back in the day, and basically the answer was "who cares? It's Helloween!" That always cracked me up.
  1:12pm joe:

LMAO! I love Helloween. I love the fact that they are so out there sometimes and have such great senses of humor.
  1:14pm Cecile:

that sounds hysterical. And fun.
  1:18pm Cecile:

this sounds like what I've wanted Lamb of God to sound like for about 4 years.
  1:21pm joe:

I was just skimming through the Playlist for the Bleeding Ears Fest and I love that in midsts of all this Hell and Heaviness what do I see but this one random Replacements song. :)
  1:22pm joe:

Well hopfully Randy's recent issues will cause a bit more anger in the new music.
  1:22pm Cecile:

Is Gorod's whole album/catalog this good?
  1:22pm Cecile:

  1:23pm Luna:

  1:23pm Cecile:

joe, I hope so.
  1:23pm joe:

  1:24pm Cecile:

and i hope they are banned from playing live. Not because of the violence, but because they suck live.
Avatar 1:24pm kamikaze:

Yes, Cecile; they are super tight. They toured here with Cattle Decapitation a couple of years ago I think. I haven't heard their 2nd record "Leading Vision" but the surrounding ones are aces.
  1:27pm Cecile:

that's cool, diane. I gotta delve into them.
  1:31pm Cecile:

damn, that drummer is hitting the crap out of his rims. sounds good.
  1:32pm joe:

@Cecile honestly never really been a fan. I've seen them many times as they are smart guys in that they pretty much made sure they got themselves on so many tours, but except for a hand full of songs here and there they really never did much for me. Not so sure why as I like other bands similar to them. They kind of fall into my Pantera book where I just don't think they are that great.
  1:33pm Antonio Burritas Infidado:

Back from the Revolution and diggin the tunes......
  1:35pm Cheri Pi:

I go to Chipotles and miss Voivod!!!?????
  1:38pm Chris from DC:

  1:38pm Cecile:

I always liked their albums up to Wrath. I liked that technical metal crazieness and the fact they would get people like Chris Poland and Alec Skolnick as guests. But live, not tight, sloppy and drunken. and if you're gonna play that kind of metal, you have to be on your game.
Yeah, I'm not a huge Pantera fan.
  1:39pm Cecile:

hahah, chris, I thought you were swearing.
  1:41pm Chris from DC:

Pretty much all day Cecile, but not in that case:)
  1:42pm Cecile:

well off to a fun afternoon of meetings. bye!
  1:43pm Luna:

Every time I hear Ufomammut I think why the eff don't I own this? So damn good.
  1:44pm Antonio Burritas Infidado:

Swine Killer at the thriller in manilla!!!!
  1:45pm Cheri Pi:

"RIP to Iron Cross' bassist Dmitri who was killed last night in a motorcycle crash."
  1:58pm joe:

Just got back to my desk. ... Oh crap really that is a damn shame about Dmitri RIP
  2:05pm Len:

Ooh this is some good tuneage.
  2:13pm Len:

Sounds like Alestorm.
  2:13pm joe:

I used to suffer from Deathspells but I'm ok now I swear.
  2:24pm pierre:

  2:32pm Crutchtar:

That was amazing.
  2:40pm Jim Idol:
