Change of seasons can have a confusing effect and induce a lethargic feeling in some folks.
Could be that it is Friday and you need some refreshment.
Avatar 5:12pm
Caryn:

There is a term in Finnish for this. Roughly translated, it's "spring fatigue". You tend to feel lethargic around March/April.
Avatar 5:13pm
northguineahills:

Are we talking pinhead-sized face, or my dinner plate sized-noggin face?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm
Brian in UK:

Thank you Dr. Caryn

@ngh In the papers here today it was described as the size of a dinner plate. The Scots would deep fry it with chips (fries).
Avatar 5:16pm
northguineahills:

No, I'm not hydrocephalic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm
Brian in UK:

@ngh what does that mean? Are you afraid of getting your willy wet?
Avatar 5:22pm
northguineahills:

If congenital, fetal hydrocephalus can lead to an enlarged cranium. In adults, it can lead to brain hemorrhaging and usually death if the fluid isn't allowed to drain.

Avatar 5:39pm
Caryn:

Just looked up medical explanation for spring fatigue. Apparently, increasingly light evenings cause your internal clock to slow down, and both your internal clock and your sleep/wake patterns end up disturbed. Your sleep is not as deep and solid as it should be, so even a long slumber doesn't make you feel refreshed. Symptoms are made worse by an increase in the production of serotonin in the spring. Fatigue, headaches, stomach aches and irritability can be the result. Once the body gets used to the increased light, the symptoms die down. Exercise, vitamins C and D and iron are thought to help. Some doctors also recommend listening to plenty of music, so I guess WFMU to the rescue!

What you got in mind for a giant salad, an ogre or maybe Jack & the Beanstalk style. Organic Vegan giants. They probably taste like spiders. Insects are the way forward. Plenty in the world should satisfy most people.
There is a huge plague of locusts in North Africa at the moment. Serious.
