hey, can anybody remember off of the top of their head the formula for determining how many different combinations of numbers there are? for example, if i have a combination lock that has numbers from 1 - 40 on the dial, and i need to dial in three numbers to open the lock.

re: bank interest rates
yes -- savings and checking accounts next to nil, but it's also a crazy time to get a 30-year, fixed mortgage for 3.5%. Probably won't see that again in our lifetimes.

I once saw an inteview Paul Schaffer did with Keith Richards.. He asked him how he could put so many different hooks/riffs in a song like "19th Nervous Breakdown". Richards said he was afraid he'd forget them if he didn't use them.

Thanks for the George Jones. Its amazing.

Saw him on his last tour. He was obviously dying. Didn't perform badly, but not well. Still, maybe he made some bucks for family and band. That's OK with me.
