Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

The Tater Thompson Story
Thanks for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show. I appreciate the time you've taken. It was nice to come upon the Peace Day event. I thank the participants for their genuine caring and for their willingness to speak with me. I hope I wasn't flippant about any of the heavy issues being discussed. Admittedly, trying to work in prog and flea market acquisitions in and amongst the various interviews is not always completely successful. It would be easy for me to go to the shelves and retrieve all the obvious tracks to accompany whatever subect we're dealing with each week, Oh, yes, easy. But taking a chance like we do, with the finds and the adds and ends. Sometimes ... paydirt. Sometimes winces, but we swing, and we swing, and we swing for the fences here. We may never hit one over the wall, but perhaps we'll hit a bloop single into right. Sometimes the best we can hope for is a bloop single. Sometimes we bunt. Always ... we remember.
