Summer in DC is as wretched as ever. I bloody grew up here & never got used to it. Praying for October, but I've begun to doubt my faith. I fear it may not exist.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm
pacific standard simon:

Tony's fibbin', folks -- don't believe the hype!
Avatar 1:42pm

OK -- maybe one little bitty drop of sweat. But after NYC in August, it's nothing.

I got your back, Tony - been a cool, mild summer down here in LA, too. Come on out, kids, I'll give you the tour!

Tabla rasa..I wasn't bemoaning the thermometer but rather, the calendar itself.
Avatar 🥁 1:47pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

57 degrees, cloudy, occasional gust of wind: Perfect conditions. I need to map where on earth it does that throughout the year, and follow that exact weather pattern around the globe. Eternal autumn: IT MUST BE POSSIBLE.
Avatar 🥁 1:48pm

Whoa, Hawaiian Pups! Their BABY JUDY 12" got a lot of play down here back then...

i'm here; just dealing with auto repair folks. trying to find an alternative to a 4-figure fix. was unconscious for a spell.
Avatar 2:30pm
Tony Coulter:

Oh no: the four figures of doom. Hope you can evade them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32pm
Rich in Washington:

What do I care? I'm wasting fingers like I have them to spare
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 2:40pm
listener james from westwood:

the options are replace the fuel injectors, or for me to run some fuel-injector cleaner thru the works and have the shop reset the computer so the "check engine" light doesn't raise hackles at the DMV (yep, this is also my inspection month). which one ya think i'm gonna pick :D
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 2:41pm
listener james from westwood:

i'll give those four figures the five-finger heart punch if i can
Avatar 2:43pm
Tony Coulter:

@ Rich: That comment RE doom was meant for Listener James. I hope he can evade the four figures of monetary apocalypse. As for you, Rich, I hope you still have at least four fingers when you're finished hacking up books.

Avatar 🥁 2:53pm
