The Eyvind Kang into Lou Harrison was genius!

P-90:

@DJ Gaylord: Starting right off with a magical mood, Thanks!
I might add that you looked slim, trim and truly healthy at the Monty Hall event.

Guido from Cologne:

Hi Gaylord!
Your show will be my lullaby music for tonight. (Must get up early.)
'till now it seems to work!
Don't get me wrong! I love it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:22pm
Gaylord Fields:

@Guido: I understand; it's Sunday night for you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm
Guido from Cologne:

:-)
Fits perfect!

P-90:

That was a true hybrid, the gamelan is written very faithfully in the Balinese style, but the melody is completely Western. Most composers who attempt that kind of thing prove to be rather ham-handed, but Lou nails it.

Gaylord Fields:

@P-90: What Harrison does is technically a bastardization, but what a glorious bastard!
  5:30pm
P-90:

...and now this! It seems inevitable somehow, the way the set was programmed...

Cleaners from Venus? Ok, I learned something today, thanks WFMU!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm
Guido from Cologne:

Sophisticated mix of vocal harmony tracks here. Thought there were some Byrds among them. surprised to find cleaners from Venus instead.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

"Psalm 92[a]
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.

1 It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
4 For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done"...
  5:57pm
P-90:

"There's always room for Jello." And Doo Wop.

I had Dorothy's voice in my head (the cloud song) this afternoon.
