A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

...if I recall Calder doc right: his 1st show in the U.S. - place booked - no Art; he shows up w/ a ball of wire - they freak. He proceeds to twist wire into uh-mazing things - great show.
Also: he did a complete little Circus - & whereas many Modern Artists see darkness & Trouble in the Circus - Calder's was all joy...

i saw some fox pups (kits?) in a den at a house i was working at. told the owner how cute they were and he said he was gonna have to shoot them - 'had some a couple years ago and they walked right up on the patio.' i made a lot of racket by them for a couple of days and they thankfully moved. i'd hate to think of them lounging by the pool and out comes the 22

Sorry, @Glenn, with the lime green text I thought you said "Where IS Ontario" not "Where IN Ontario". I was up on Georgian Bay for a week of vacation. My family owns one of the islands way out near open water. I saw the foxes on the way to the marina. Technically this isn't "Northern Ontario" but it's pretty far up there relative to where all of the people are.

Calder looking sort of Norman Mailerish there. Don't know if either man would object to the comparison, other than with reflexive scowls.

I would like to see 6 or 7 Beemers suspended in a nice array and slowww twirlin' in a spacious atrium or from a worthy bridge, more than I'd like to see 'em zipping around a race track.
