Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

this isn't really how i sing. kind of a character affectation i don't have a singing voice that is mine. i locked in on some psuedo-bowie bastardization years ago.

lately i've been writing these songs in garageband one line at a time. eliminating premeditation which seems to be the enemy.
Gown  Taylor's Jam   Favoriting For The Maples  Three Lobed  2008?  LP  Bought for 1$ at FMU Record Fair. The music behind the speaking.

thank you for listening. 2:45am August 4th, 2014 as I am typing this. Late. I am tired, but ... i am caught up with my playlists (except for that one a couple of months back that i am going to ignore). i hope you enjoyed this show. i had fun doing it. going "live" is a kick for me. i feel like an old athlete who had returned to the game after sitting out a season. i am still somewhat effective, but i can tell that life and time and wear has caused me to "lose a step" as they say, and a step i can probably never really get back. i aim for flashes now. little flashes of goodness that i can summon. as for the rest, i just try to make it reasonably worthwhile for you. until next time great radio friend. i am so glad you listened and that you are here. please visit me on facebook, specifically this group called "pigeonnaires" where we commiserate and have fun together. i'll look for you. have a great rest of the summer, take care and ... always remember ... your great grandparents.

Hey Clay,
The original score for Monk was inspired by Django Reinhardt. In fact,
my guitar instructor Pete and I listened to, played and wrote the song in tab notation. A few days later I saw Sabbath in Philly. Toni, Ozzy and the boys blew me away.
Toni lost fingertips and was inspired by Django Reinhardt to
keep playing.

@ steve - my friend is Martin Smith of Streetly Electronics in the UK - the original Mellotron builders - he said the process must not be rushed - 24 to 32 hours of curing - but he said it restored his totally beat Moraz LP to near perfect! I neeed to research the process more - but if he says it works, I'm sold!
