Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Thanks for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show. It's strange to have been on WFMU for so long now. Not in the sense that Fabio or Irwin have, but a pretty long time just the same. I'm still enjoying it, though after every single show I think "gee I wish I could do that over again." There's always moments you wish you would have handled something better or said something more clever. Still, it's a blast and I'm glad you checked it out. I hope you'll visit me on Faceblah, too. It;s called The Pigeonnaires. Look for it. We have fun there. I'll see you next week hopefully. I hope you are loving your summer. What a beautiful time of year, Take care now and ... always remember ... the great guitarist, Dick Wagner. RIP

Clay, I love you, but you gotta pull your head out of the sand. MSNBC/Rachel Maddow are better than FOX, for sure, but they're just corporate-owned news media that happens to cheer lead for Obama and Democrats. Check out DemocracyNow or TruthDig some time. They're definitely from a "left" point of view, but they don't just kowtow to the Democrats, you get a far more clear view of world events and politics, sans the Republican V. Democrat paradigm that US media stays in.
