5 Pieces Op 34 by Alfredo Casella (composed around 1919)
as perfomed by New Music String Quartett (NY) on Bartok Records.
The original LP seems to be pretty rare, but re-issued on Naxos-download-label.
Unfortunately the original 50ies cover art is missing.

For "classical" at FMU. I often go to Bethany's archive playlists and listen... Her shows are Stochastic Hit Parade and the A440

I always politely decline the Thanksgiving dinners in acknowledgement.'I have plans". Then take the day to sleep late , read, go to Film Forum... do stuff I like... could be a lazy day. Or go into writing something today bec I am following an idea.

...Since Bethany Ryker's Stochastic 440 is gone again - by all means play 'Classical'. Despite having 31 streams bookmarked in an iTunes folder called 'Classical' - not one will do for the genre what she does, despite a few good Early/Baroque ones; just like having 34 continuous streams of 'Punk' *not one* will do what FMU's 'Distort Jersey City' did in one hour/week...

...Probably most around here will dig the Early & the Modern stuff & the tasty dramatic East European stuff, & skip the respectable Romantic stuff in the middle - but people like Bethany can show that those guys too are about much more than their three 'Hits'...
