Does a social media site make a noise if there's no one there to hear it?

Hello everyone!
  7:27am Mark:

Scott, the way you mix together the ingredients creates one of the most delicious musical stews on FMU. Look at that playlist--that's how you do radio, my friend. Kudos to you!
Avatar 7:28am Sem Chumbo:

Absolutely rapt following this excursion. Sun Ra, the godfather of FMU programming inspiration.

  7:42am Mark:

This group was so amazing--they could stretch a song out and everybody would get a chance to do his thing--Herbie's so great, then just when you're not sure what's next, back comes Miles, and you're like, "OK." I learned everything I know about management from Miles. Hire great talent and let them do their thing.
  7:45am Mark:

"The Bootleg Series--Live in Europe" is really interesting, too--same group, 2 years later. Hints of what was to come.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54am Scott McDowell:

Yeah Mark, agreed. It's interesting to hear George Coleman and Sam Rivers in the Wayne role just prior to this band blowing things apart. It's not quite right but you can tell the band is just stretching stretching. Ahh it kills me.
Avatar 7:55am Sem Chumbo:

Been sweet since the start, Scott. Thanks, and I'll be back for more next time.
  7:56am Mark:

Wayne was still on that European recording, so that's great--the one from '69, early electric stuff with Chick on electric piano and Wayne still in the band is shit hot. But very different from the acoustic stuff for sure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56am Scott McDowell:

Oh right I was thinking about the recordings from just prior, but yeah still agree!
  8:03am whoopysnorp:

Listening in Atlanta. Love the show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04am Scott McDowell:

thanks for the check-in, whoopysnorp

Good TZAG, Scott and ev-er-y-body! Great set today, and this Rakha track is so necessary right about now!
Avatar 8:11am PKNY:

@Scott - just looked up the Ektaal track on Spotify, are you going in on the whole hour+ of this?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13am Scott McDowell:

ha -- no, I chose a short one :)
Avatar 8:15am PKNY:

@Scott - Hmmm, maybe the version on Spotify is the whole album as one track, and the one you have has split tracks? Either way, thanks for hipping me to it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17am Scott McDowell:

yeah it's split - it's this one www.discogs.com...
