Cool story, but this is the deal, “Afterwards, the assistant tour manager, Jess [Cortese] saw a homeless man on the street who offered up this little kitten for a dollar.” So it was not Slayer technically but their tour manager. www.nuvo.net...

Bad Krampus Zero:

I went to a production of "The Santaland Diaries" last night. While waiting for a train afterward I was talking to some people about the Cleveland Browns. This one guy had a familiar-sounding voice; I eventually figured out that it was Toby Radloff [one of Harvey Pekar's co-workers that was prominently featured in "American Splendor" stories].

Did anyone else watch "Peter Pan" on NBC?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54am
Therese:

I was about to ask if they were going to recreate the reflecting pool from the Brooklyn space. Seems like I was thinking small!!
  1:54am
JakeGould:

Does anyone really watch, “Peter Pan” live on NBC?
  1:55am
JakeGould:

Therese, the space they have in DUMBO has water as well… But is so crammed and badly laid out. This is perfect.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56am

I don't think I've been to the DUMBO space, but I did like their Williamsburg location.

Bad Krampus Zero, is “Peter Pan” live on NBC a good thing?
  2:07am
tom:

wasn't chistopher walken supposed to be captain hook?

/?
Avatar 2:08am
Bad Krampus Zero:

@Jake: It was an exercise in tedium. It had the pacing of a Peter Jackson hobbit movie. If you can overcome the languid pacing there's definite entertainment value - both good and bad.
  2:09am
JakeGould:

I miss the TV productions of the 1970s where they could be bad and tedious yet still fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10am
Therese:

I was half listening to a promo for Peter Pan live and thought that Christoph Waltz was playing Captain Hook.
Avatar 2:10am
Bad Krampus Zero:

I remember when NBC aired "Peter Pan" in 1976; Mia Farrow portrayed Peter.
Avatar 2:11am
Bad Krampus Zero:

Christoph Waltz would probably make a good Captain Hook.
  2:12am
tom:

therese, you could be right. walken is a little old to be doing live tv.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12am

That's what I thought too!

(That Christoph Waltz would make a good Captain Hook, I mean.)

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17am

Pilates may be too much to hope for.
  2:20am
JakeGould:

“No word on if his character will be named Pilates.” One day we will force Pilates to be the premise for a super team of extremely healthy anti-freedom mercenaries located on some island in… Somewhere.
Avatar 2:27am
Bad Krampus Zero:

"We will force you all to do pilates until someone creates a special disco version of 'Faraway Eyes.'"
Avatar 2:36am
Bad Krampus Zero:

Were you startled by the real John Allen or Cardboard John Allen? Or both?
  2:37am
JakeGould:

I just solved a bizarre server problem that will help me not have stress all this week. That is why I am up late.
Avatar 2:40am
Bad Krampus Zero:

Things that need to be created:
1. A special disco version of "Faraway Eyes"
2. A device to track the whereabouts of Cardboard Cutout John Allen. I think it should be like the thing the Colonial Marines used in "Aliens" to alert them when creatures were approaching.
Avatar 2:42am
