Avatar 12:35am Bad Krampus Zero:

I hope that person names their next cat Tom Servo. Or Crooooooooooooooooooow.
  12:37am JakeGould:

Cool story, but this is the deal, “Afterwards, the assistant tour manager, Jess [Cortese] saw a homeless man on the street who offered up this little kitten for a dollar.” So it was not Slayer technically but their tour manager. www.nuvo.net...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am fleep:

Never spoil a good PR story with facts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am Therese:

Exactly! Print the legend...
  12:41am JakeGould:

Well it’s always the tour manager that hooks up the band with barely legal pussy. So there you go!
  12:44am JakeGould:

And i looked this amazing song’s source up. groovierecords.bandcamp.com...
Avatar 12:46am Mugsy:

Enza Flori has enraged me.

Avatar 12:47am Bad Krampus Zero:

I'm going to put that Enza Flori song on the mix CD I'm making for my two-year-old niece who loves to dance.

  1:47am JakeGould:

Good news? My stress induced career decision to shift gears is actually working out.
  1:48am JakeGould:

Also, no Furries were harmed when chlorine was released into the ventilation system of a Chicago hotel where Furries had a convention happening.
  1:49am JakeGould:

Galapagos Art Space purchased a 9 building (!!!) complex in Detroit… So NYC loses them but now they become a Detroit destination.
  1:49am johnk77:

more good news
91.1 over the air signal
sounds great
after slight antenna adjustments
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50am Therese:

9 Buildings?! Wow!
Avatar 1:50am Bad Krampus Zero:

I went to a production of "The Santaland Diaries" last night. While waiting for a train afterward I was talking to some people about the Cleveland Browns. This one guy had a familiar-sounding voice; I eventually figured out that it was Toby Radloff [one of Harvey Pekar's co-workers that was prominently featured in "American Splendor" stories].
  1:51am JakeGould:

John Legend and his wife rented out a fleet of food trucks to feed protestors around Lincoln Center. www.vanityfair.com...
  1:51am KP:

I Fought the Law book signing/conference was great but still regretting missing the show. So batting .500 there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am Therese:

John Legend and Mrs. Legend are A-OK by me.
  1:52am JakeGould:

Details on the Galapagos move here, “… have bought nine buildings totaling about 600,000 square feet in that city’s Corktown neighborhood and in neighboring Highland Park, paying what he described as the price of “a small apartment in New York City” for the properties.” www.nytimes.com...
  1:52am JakeGould:

“The centerpiece of the new Galapagos will be a 10,000-square-foot lake…” AMAZING!
  1:53am johnk77:

thanks for the heads up!
  1:53am JakeGould:

And Fergusson protest leaders will be meeting with Obama in the White House. www.washingtonpost.com...
Avatar 1:54am Bad Krampus Zero:

Did anyone else watch "Peter Pan" on NBC?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54am Therese:

I was about to ask if they were going to recreate the reflecting pool from the Brooklyn space. Seems like I was thinking small!!
  1:54am JakeGould:

Does anyone really watch, “Peter Pan” live on NBC?
  1:55am JakeGould:

Therese, the space they have in DUMBO has water as well… But is so crammed and badly laid out. This is perfect.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56am Therese:

I don't think I've been to the DUMBO space, but I did like their Williamsburg location.
  1:57am JakeGould:

DUMBO one here. www.yelp.com...
Avatar 1:57am ! I X Key !:

Made yum all up, & this music was so good for the food! So good!
  1:58am JakeGould:

And here is a shot of the crammed inside of the DUMBO space. Note how it’s like large designer diner booths with little water moats placed between them. So awkward. dumbonyc.com...
  2:04am JakeGould:

Bad Krampus Zero, is “Peter Pan” live on NBC a good thing?
  2:07am tom:

wasn't chistopher walken supposed to be captain hook?

Avatar 2:08am Bad Krampus Zero:

@Jake: It was an exercise in tedium. It had the pacing of a Peter Jackson hobbit movie. If you can overcome the languid pacing there's definite entertainment value - both good and bad.
  2:09am JakeGould:

I miss the TV productions of the 1970s where they could be bad and tedious yet still fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10am Therese:

I was half listening to a promo for Peter Pan live and thought that Christoph Waltz was playing Captain Hook.
Avatar 2:10am Bad Krampus Zero:

I remember when NBC aired "Peter Pan" in 1976; Mia Farrow portrayed Peter.
Avatar 2:11am Bad Krampus Zero:

Christoph Waltz would probably make a good Captain Hook.
  2:12am tom:

therese, you could be right. walken is a little old to be doing live tv.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12am Therese:

That's what I thought too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13am Therese:

(That Christoph Waltz would make a good Captain Hook, I mean.)
Avatar 2:13am Bad Krampus Zero:

Waltz is going to be in the next Bond movie. No word on if his character will be named Pilates.
  2:15am tom:

enjoying the show, thx for your dj-ing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:16am Therese:

You're welcome, Tom!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17am Therese:

Pilates may be too much to hope for.
  2:20am JakeGould:

“No word on if his character will be named Pilates.” One day we will force Pilates to be the premise for a super team of extremely healthy anti-freedom mercenaries located on some island in… Somewhere.
Avatar 2:27am Bad Krampus Zero:

"We will force you all to do pilates until someone creates a special disco version of 'Faraway Eyes.'"
Avatar 2:36am Bad Krampus Zero:

Were you startled by the real John Allen or Cardboard John Allen? Or both?
  2:37am JakeGould:

I just solved a bizarre server problem that will help me not have stress all this week. That is why I am up late.
Avatar 2:40am Bad Krampus Zero:

Things that need to be created:
1. A special disco version of "Faraway Eyes"
2. A device to track the whereabouts of Cardboard Cutout John Allen. I think it should be like the thing the Colonial Marines used in "Aliens" to alert them when creatures were approaching.
Avatar 2:42am Bad Krampus Zero:

Fa Bonx reminds me of Supergrass.
  2:59am Steve-O:

Anyway, great show tonight, Therese.....I hope you have a wonderful week! =)
Avatar 3:00am -andrew-:

Thanks Therese. Great show tonight. Bye all!
  3:01am JakeGould:

Thank you Therese!
Avatar 3:01am Bad Krampus Zero:

Have a great week, everyone! See you back here next time.
