Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm

Dave, there's an "Even More Electric Banana" release, as well, I believe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:55pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- long loved Pretty Things of course
...but heard an 'Electric Banana' bit on a PBS program about psychology - on an episode about drugs they showed somebody (actually) having a very heavy bad trip, & used their tune as incidental music - & I really wondered for a real long time who it was!...It was Pretty Things!...& you care - because - ??...
Avatar 10:03pm
Dave Mandl:

@UM: Ah, I haven't seen that.
@RRN63: I once heard a track from More Electric Banana used on SCTV.
  10:05pm
Carmichael:

Dave, really?? Do you remember the particular skit or show? I'm an SCTV devotee, and would love to check that out.
Avatar 10:07pm
Dave Mandl:

@Carmichael: It was one of the fake talk shows. I believe there was a band playing (miming) and "Sweet Orphan Lady" was the music. They looped the first few seconds of it (before the singing comes in) over and over.
  10:08pm
tr-sh:

Was it... "Mel's Rock Pile" ?
  10:09pm
Carmichael:

Or maybe Sammy Maudlin's show. I shall delve into it.
Avatar 10:09pm
Dave Mandl:

Right, Mel's Rock Pile. But I don't remember which episode.
Avatar 10:10pm

Say it slow so people won't think you played Morey Amsterdam's "Chuck-a-puck."
Avatar 10:51pm
