	2:18pm JakeGould: The general way tax laws a food work is simple: If the food is prepared in the place you are buying it from, you get taxed. A supermarket that suddenly wants to sell peanut butter and jelly sandwiches enters a whole new world of taxation by deciding to wipe a knife across two pieces of bread.

They get fined to death, kick out of their place, the building is flipped and next you know it… Artisanal nonsense on the ground floor and overpriced apartments above. Very common pattern I notice.
