Any Prince? His birthday was yesterday (aka: 7 minutes ago).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08am Therese:

@JakeGould- that can be arranged, stand by...
Avatar 12:09am BadGuyZero:

It's still his birthday in Minneapolis.

It is always Prince's birthday in Minneapolis!
  12:10am MONEYBAG$:

Mary Wing invented a great game last night, "Is _____ older than Prince?"
  12:11am JakeGould:

Prince has an impressive DMCA takedown team since 100% nothing of significance by Prince is on the YouTubes. :/
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12am Therese:

Ooh, I like that!

@Therese: Impressive. Most impressive. Thank you.

Hey, Therese!
Avatar 12:12am BadGuyZero:

"It is always Prince's birthday in Minneapolis" is the new "it's 5 o'clock somewhere."
  12:13am JakeGould:

It’s always sunny in Philadelphia.
Avatar 12:14am ! I X Key !:

@JG that's a funny idea of his of how to get the party started
12:17am Bob in DC and/or Virginia:

Hey, Therese! Happy end of the old sked/beginning of the new one. So glad you'll still be with us on the far side of the cusp.

Did you know there was a remake of Jesus Christ Superstar which featured Rik Mayall?
Avatar 12:27am ! I X Key !:

My favorite version of Jesus Christ Superstar is the one by Laibach
Avatar 12:27am BadGuyZero:

There was a show on PBS earlier called "Aging Backwards." I was disappointed that it wasn't a documentary about the recording of "This Summer."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32am sugarwolf:

I still regret not buying the record of songs from JC Superstar in Hungarian that I saw in Footlight Records.

“Jeepers Creepers, Slacker Guy” from Mr. Show?
Avatar 12:37am Mary Wing:

I liked the old commercial for Pippin, it was tres risque.
  12:37am MONEYBAG$:

I think I had a New Zoo Revue board game
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37am sugarwolf:

If we're talking Rice/Lloyd Webber musicals, I prefer Evita.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38am sugarwolf:

I like the old I Love NY commercials with various Broadway casts.
Avatar 12:38am BadGuyZero:

Antenna TV airs episodes of "H.R. Pufnstuf" and "Land Of The Lost" on Saturday mornings.
  12:39am JakeGould:

Funny you mentioned “New Zoo Revue.” Look at the frog at the beginning of the intro. The way the mouth is just screwed up and flapping randomly is a minor obsession with me right now. www.youtube.com...
Avatar 12:39am BadGuyZero:

I was disappointed that I was unable to make it up to NYC to see "Pippin" while Annie Potts was in it.
Avatar 12:40am ! I X Key !:

When I saw Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Donny Osmond had a sore throat & his understudy performed
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am Therese:

The Milford Plaza commercial?
  12:40am PMD:

Evita rules!
  12:41am JakeGould:

The lullaBUY of Broadway?
  12:42am JakeGould:

I am a bit obsessed also with old pre-FCC changes station editorial messages and recorded replies from the public. Now all we have is Kardashians.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44am sugarwolf:

no, the ones from the the I Heart NY campaign

Cher with the cast of La Cage Aux Folles! Sinatra with Cats!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45am Therese:

Can you imagine what Sinatra was thinking while filming that?
  12:48am JakeGould:

BTW, your premium CD cover looks pretty awesome!
Avatar 12:48am BadGuyZero:

Sinatra was probably thinking the same thing that Paul Stanley was when he was making that Folgers commercial.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50am Therese:

Thanks, Jake! I'm really pleased with how this one came together.

  1:33am JakeGould:

The L train was running well this weekend… The R train… Yeeesh (my problem).
  1:36am sugarwolf:

Hmm I am going to be in Greenpoint on Saturday...
  1:37am JakeGould:

the R train stinks. But this weekend… No local to Bay Ridge. Worst weekend. But they got the tracks fixed and now those big LED commercial screens that occasionally have maps work down by me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39am Tome:

,, despite ,, we've had it pretty good for way too long I think,,, some say we're heading back to the day of the RR and LL... that would suck big time ,,
Avatar 1:39am BadGuyZero:

I love these Finders Keepers collections.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40am Tome:

& Therese glad you're going to be here still right here in this slot .. ! ..

I'm sorry if I do weird things that really are a result of Scientology programming I'm sorry for getting everything wrong
Avatar 1:44am ! I X Key !:

I can't help it
What happened to me in that mind control brainwashing cult group is real
  1:45am JakeGould:

@Tome: Ahhh! When the R was the N and the RR was the R. Also, I just found out there were plans to extend the R line to Staten Island and even remnants of it still around. That would actually be a decent idea if you think about it.
  1:49am JakeGould:

  1:50am sugarwolf:

Yay Prince!

thank u superdj @therese
2:48am Bob in DC and/or Virginia:

I have early memories of my dad leading us around the neighborhood in search of Kohoutek sightings.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50am Therese:

Were the searches successful? And was your dad in the Source Family, by any chance?
2:52am Bob in DC and/or Virginia:

Sadly, we never saw the comet, and I kind of gave up on comets after that. Even Hale-Bopp.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55am Ken From Hyde Park:

It's been years since a decent comet has appeared.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58am Therese:

When is the next good comet fly-by?
Avatar 2:59am BadGuyZero:

I went to a Man Or Astro-man? show when the Comet Hale-Bopp was passing through our corner of the cosmos. I have a setlist from that show. It's written on the inside of a Little Debbie Star Crunch box that has a panel on the outside that has various facts about Comet Hale-Bopp.
Avatar 3:01am BadGuyZero:

Have a great week, Therese! I'll see everyone back here next time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01am Ken From Hyde Park:

www.nasa.gov should have info on comet biz. Thanks and bye!
  3:01am Steve-O:

Anyway, this was a wonderful show as is the usual, Therese.....here's to another year of awesome programming! =D
