I had a hunch you would play him tonight.
  12:03am Carmichael:

Nice, Therese. Nesmith right outta the gate!
Avatar 12:03am KP:

Super start. Good evening, Therese.
Avatar 12:04am BadGuyZero:

Also, congratulations on staying put on the FMU schedule for another few months.

And congratulations to us because of that.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04am Therese:

I have Nesmith on the brain. And Dolenz, Jones, Boyce & Hart. And Tork.
  12:05am Carmichael:

This is almost Marshall Tucker.

It's like we never left Monty.
  12:11am Carmichael:

This is gonna be an awesome show!
Avatar 12:11am Jeff:

Is that Davey? He was always dreamy.
Avatar 12:12am KP:

Tell us you're going to have on Rachel Lichtman, my new icon
Avatar 12:12am KP:

This was the best scene
  12:13am Carmichael:

Matt, I'm in CA, but good call on the rabbit rabbit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14am Matt from Springfield:

Best way to guarantee luck for the next month!
(I saw a real rabbit earlier today, so I was reminded).
Avatar 12:15am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Interviewer: What's the best-sounding band in L.A.?
Zappa: Probably the Monkees, 'cause they can afford the best equipment.
  12:16am JakeGould:

I love “Valleri” and I love “Stepping Stone.”
  12:16am Steve-O:

Hi Therese! Have I ever told you how much I look forward to your show every week? =)
  12:16am cheri:

I must confess that I love mickey dolenz! mickey still is my favorite!
  12:17am rw:

Wow. I'm not the biggest fan of Minor Threat but that was a great version of Steppin' Stone
  12:17am Carmichael:

Thank Gretsch for the equipment. Even the marracas.
  12:21am KP:

The Jay Black connection was unexpected, and a little disturbing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21am Ken From Hyde Park:

How many Monkees comic books did you guys have in your collections? www.comicvine.com...
  12:22am cheri:

night kp!
  12:23am Carmichael:

As long as they sing about Alice Long, I'm a happy camper.
  12:24am Steve-O:

@cheri: Good night! =)
  12:24am sugarwolf:

  12:24am KP:

That was the best thing to happen at Monty Hall since Therese sang Union City Blues there.
  12:24am KP:

Night already, cheri?
Avatar 12:28am BadGuyZero:

♫♫ Oh yes I wonder
What Therese will be playing tonight ♫♫
Avatar 12:29am Irwin:

Therese — the B&H film hasn't been released because it hasn't been completed. Probably won't be released for another year, said director Rachel.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am Matt from Springfield:

But...it is existent! So, see the film once it's available!
  12:31am JakeGould:

Bobby Hart would be ‘Scoping his sessions.
  12:32am KP:

Director Rachel Lichtman is freaking hysterical on Twitter as @djrotaryrachel
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34am Matt from Springfield:

Wow, "pharaway sounds" indeed!

@Matt: No, it isn’t.

Well that's probably enough caps for now, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA!!! :D
  1:33am JakeGould:

“I'm hard as granite.” If I were ever as hard as granite I would turn to my partner and say, “Something horrible is happening. I might be dying. Call 911.”
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:37am Matt from Springfield:

Hmmm, country of origin? Netherlands? Norway? Germany?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39am Therese:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40am Matt from Springfield:

Sounds plausible. Low Country electro, different from the surrounding countries' electro it seems.
Avatar 1:41am BadGuyZero:

According to the interwebs Tipical Me is one person: Lieven Nicasy.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:43am Matt from Springfield:

Sounds great Therese! "The New York Times Guide to Movies to Take Acid To: May 29-31"
Avatar 1:44am BadGuyZero:

If you ever need to prepare yourself for the post-apocalyptic wasteland you should come to Texas.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45am Matt from Springfield:

Netherlands, nl-nl.facebook.com

"Lieven Nicasy used to be Tipical Me, now he's mingling among other people .."

@BGZ: Oh, has it already arrived there?? ;)
Avatar 1:46am BadGuyZero:

Joe was played by the same guy that was The Toecutter in the first Mad Max movie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46am Matt from Springfield:

Daaaaaamn. The acidheads are havin' a blast with that.
Avatar 1:46am tonyb:

sorry...that's my job

! Wowie zowie " To: " is a funny face! (o:
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:48am Matt from Springfield:

THAT guy, playing double necked guitar shooting flames while bungeed to the moving drum, THAT guy is the real "Ayatollah of Rock 'n Rollah!!"
Avatar 1:48am BadGuyZero:

Ford makes Econolines.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50am Matt from Springfield:

I can see Therese in post-apocalyptic desert wasteland chasing others in a Ford Econoline van: "Slow down! We have to conserve our fuel! And I have more mismatched hubcaps in back, you've already lost some of yours!!"
  1:50am JakeGould:

The thing about the dystopian future of “Mad Max”: There is never any public transportation.
Avatar 1:51am BadGuyZero:

Freaks vs. the Preppers
  1:51am JakeGould:

Therese would be the very reasonable member of the post-apocalyptic world.
Avatar 1:52am BadGuyZero:

I have a handheld scanner you can use to spy on radio communications.
  1:53am JakeGould:

After the dust settles and society needs to reform, we need someone like Therese to help us keep things accounted for and shared correctly.
  1:54am JakeGould:

And reading a map is a skill most people have lost already thanks to smart phones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54am Matt from Springfield:

The unreasonable will constantly explode in a blaze of glory, but someone needs to be around after all that to catalogue spoils and/or seeds and/or music.
Avatar 1:55am BadGuyZero:

A guild?
  1:56am JakeGould:

A tribe? Therese could be a member of a tribe. Not necessarily the tribe of Jews (like me) but just a tribe of people who don’t want to die in a post-apocalyptic world.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56am Matt from Springfield:

YES! You ARE the Lady DJ of the Warriors! Make it so!!
Avatar 1:58am BadGuyZero:

The lady who portrayed the DJ in "The Warriors" was also "The Chief" on "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?"
  1:58am Lee:

how about some records? enough with the post apocalyptic ramblings!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58am Matt from Springfield:

Lynne Thigpen! RIP.
  1:59am JakeGould:

There could be some tribal beheading about to happen, and then Therese could break through the crowd of be-headers and say, “Wait! Not so fast.” And then decide to simply enslave the captured to save on labor instead of just killing them for short-sighted revenge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00am Tome:

the 70s's was a post apocalyptic dessert wasteland .......
Avatar 2:00am BadGuyZero:

If you ever need to prepare yourself for the post-apocalyptic aquatic wasteland you should come to Texas
  2:01am JakeGould:

And my skill? I am resourceful, have good street eyes, can sucker punch and kick hard as well as learn quickly. If you found a busted piece of equipment in a post apocalyptic world, I can probably fix it or repurpose it into something useful. I also have a cool set of tools.
Avatar 2:02am BadGuyZero:

I figure that the post-apocalyptic world will be like Burning Man.
  2:02am JakeGould:

I’m also a good writer, so I could document our tribe’s history.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02am Matt from Springfield:

@Jake: "Human capital" -- Therese knows how to manage, what we already have!

My skill would be cartographer/map maker. Which I am now, but unlike many in the computer generation I actually know HOW to make a map without a computer! Also salvaging crap for any useful components/materiel.
  2:03am JakeGould:

@BadGuyZero: Similar, but less rich kids going on crack benders.
Avatar 2:04am BadGuyZero:

Hound sounds like Black Sabbath crossed with Queens Of The Stone Age.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06am Tome:

thinking the second Ram Jam which I think either Therese or Sue P played one time *Portrait of the Artist as a young Ram* the second one ..
Avatar 2:07am Mugsy:

Thanks for the Minor Threat.
Avatar 2:08am newberry:

Oh I guess now would be a good time to check in, during this X song; I'm listening in Highland Park, Los Angeles, and loving the music--thanks Therese!
Avatar 2:18am Irwin:

Did we finally get a Flyying Colours disc in the new bin?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20am Therese:

We did, Irwin!
Avatar 2:21am Irwin:

Aussie shoegaze. Love it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23am Matt from Springfield:

Surf is/will soon be Up!

Some have played Flyying Colours -- that album is phenomenal.
Avatar 2:28am newberry:

is there anything more insane than the jug-playing in this song?
Avatar 2:31am ! I X Key !:

I love my real life tribe! They would protect me from any tribal beheadings Therese is handling!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37am Matt from Springfield:

Saying attr. to Ben Franklin.
Avatar 2:38am BadGuyZero:

I have a tub of Peanut Chews. It's like a candy-filled drum!
  2:39am Attila the Nun:

I do wish Therese was on 'til 6 every time out
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:39am Matt from Springfield:

@BGZ: Could you MAKE Peanut Chews (or a facsimile) if necessary?! That's one skill we would like to have!
Avatar 2:40am BadGuyZero:

I remember the one time Therese was on until around 4:30am.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41am Therese:

Listen, I would prefer not to have any beheadings in this still-theoretical, but inevitable Wasteland. Maybe we can settle grievances ON THE DANCEFLOOR?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43am Therese:

Without it turning into that big dumb rave from one of Matrix sequels, that is.
Avatar 2:43am BadGuyZero:

@Matt: I bet I could. I'm pretty resourceful. Perhaps I should look up how they're made and have a plan in place to get the instructions tattooed on me when the apocalypse happens. I'll be like the keeper of the heirloom seeds, but for how to make Peanut Chews.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43am Matt from Springfield:

If that was a really long "Also: Talking!" with amEdeo, we could count the combined episodes they had done together, putting Therese on until 6.

@Therese: Meet in between--settle scores like the Coke bottles guy from the Warriors, but while on a dancefloor. WITH Disco ball.
Avatar 2:45am BadGuyZero:

I'll look like the guy from "Memento," except all my tattoos will be how to make various candy treats.
Avatar 2:47am BadGuyZero:

@Matt: The time I'm thinking of was because the 3am person didn't show up. Therese stuck around until Liz Berg made it in to take over.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49am Matt from Springfield:

Bingo BGZ! :)

That was good of Therese (and LIZ!), so I'll count that as her longest episode by spillover.
Avatar 2:52am BadGuyZero:

This sounds like it's going to be scary.
Avatar 2:53am BadGuyZero:

If I can't survive the Billy Paul tune what makes me think I'll survive in the post-apocalypse???
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53am Tome:

,, survived the 70's desserts ,,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53am Matt from Springfield:

This ain't your run of the mill "Mrs. Jones" Billy Paul!!

Did I order Trouble's premium this year? I might have! If so, I'm in for some treats!
Avatar 2:55am BadGuyZero:

I can make scary-sounding voices. That might be useful in the post-apocalypse. People will think Ogre from Skinny Puppy is coming and run away.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56am Tome:

oo that JUne spring breeze [ windows open ] ahhh ..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59am Matt from Springfield:

As it began..so it ends...

THANKS Therese! Wonderful show, great diverse selection! Another winner!

Have a good night everyone!
Avatar 3:00am BadGuyZero:

Have a great week, everyone. See you back here next time.

Thank you, Therese!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00am Ken From Hyde Park:

I can shout real loud. Hopefully, that will have some usefulness in the post-apocalyptic world. I'll relay messages from the top of the nearby hill, since the phones won't be working.
Avatar 3:01am ! I X Key !:

Did the Monkees cause the apocalypse?
Avatar 3:02am BadGuyZero:
