Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Thank you for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show! I hope you enjoyed it. If you read this playlist, you'll know I did my share of whining about the distortion levels I detected in this program. Evidently I recorded or mixed it too "hot" and digital distortion is VERY unforgiving in that regard. Bummer. Anyway ... onward to the next show. I really enjoyed filling in for Dave The Spazz last week. That show is available in the Dusty Show archives so please check it out. 3 hours of mostly 70's rock with LOTS of talk. The reaction I got for that show makes me question why I do all this interview stuff which, quite honestly, gets a fairly muted reaction from the listeners. I always ask for a three-hour show, but I guess they like me in this one-hour slot, so I am grateful to have that. It was really hard not to blab all over the songs on this episode like I did on the Spazz fill-in. I wait all week for that one hour on the radio, so I am always very amped and excited to be there. It goes so fast, and then I start all over again. As I said, glad you listened and I hope you keep tuning in when you can. It's always appreciated. Sad to see Summer start to wane. Loved all the hot weather. I guess at my age you start to do the math a little , how many more Summers? Do I capitalize Summer? Probably not. Anyway ... have a happy Labor Day weekend. Chances are by the time you read this, it will be long gone and who knows what day/time/year it will be. If you are in the future, please know that your silver clothing looks fabulous. Especially the slacks. I want them. OK. Always remember ... CPNYC258p9515USA99 |
