Hello Becky. I am really enjoying your shows.
Avatar 8:05pm
cory:

this is sooooooo much better than watching a bunch of rich guys arguing about who's the best
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 8:05pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

How do, Becky. I was trying to persuade Ken & Andy to bring pizza back to the studio for you. They managed to give the pizza away, though.
Avatar 8:07pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Wait, there was pizza? And you're just saying something now that there's not?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:07pm
dale:

maybe they will bring becky some pornography
Avatar 8:07pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Not cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08pm
Becky:

Aw, that's okay Ken. I just realized I have some pizza in my freezer at home. Di Fara!
  8:09pm
P-90:

Welcome to Wednesday, HTRG! I have a feeling you'll be here for a while...
  8:10pm
P-90:

That's right, I think Ken and Andy saved you a copy of Penthouse.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:11pm
Becky:

How generous.
  8:11pm
P-90:

But you probably already have Penthouse in your freezer, too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13pm
sweeks:

Like Andy would ever give up his porno...

JakeGould:

Hello to the new slot!
  8:15pm
Spooky1:

Missed you on Monday - been waiting 3 days to hear some good music!
  8:16pm
timurf:

Wee - I mean woo! Now Wednesdays are the rockin'est night of the week!
Avatar 8:18pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Please play the rest of the songs louder. I have to clean in the other room.
Avatar 8:21pm
bobdoesthings:

if you don't know how to spell honky tonk.. well.. nevermind actually.
  8:25pm
JakeGould:

Hønkee Taunk?
  8:25pm
Tommy:

That's what I'm talking about
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm
Becky:

Nailed it, Jake.
  8:28pm
Tommy:

While you have Porter out hit us up with the Rubber Room
  8:28pm
JakeGould:

Woo hoo! USA! USA! USA!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm
Becky:

Tommy, this Porter album is way more normcore than all that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:29pm
Becky:

For the record, I'd like to go to the disc jockey convention down in Nashville, Tennessee.
Avatar 8:29pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

I will use all my personal pull with Ken to get you program a whole sub-channel of the WFMU stream.

Anyone know how to get personal pull with Ken?
  8:31pm
JakeGould:

A whole sub channel? Really? A 1 hour show on broadcast during prime time is better if you ask me.
  8:32pm
Tommy:

The Rubber Room would be a radical departure from the direction of your excellent show , let's pretend I never brought it up
  8:32pm
timurf:

mercy, i'm coughing on second hand smoke from this track
  8:32pm
P-90:

Ken should send you down to do a remote from the convention in Nashville.
Avatar 8:33pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

In addition, Jake, not instead of.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm
Becky:

Pete, I hope you're supplying the little white pills if I'm in charge of a whole subchannel.
  8:42pm
JakeGould:

Stan Farlow sounds like Johnny Cash says me, the first guy to ever notice that.
  8:45pm
JakeGould:

FWIW, I already like this show better as a mid-week show.
  8:47pm
P-90:

Like 75% of these guys sound like Johnny Cash anyway. Is Stan Farlow related to guitar legend Tal Farlow, I wonder?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:51pm
Becky:

Don't believe so, P-90, but maybe some kind of distant cousin.
Avatar 8:51pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Becky, if I had those little white pills, I'd believe you already did.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm
Becky:

This show is SOOOOO LONG!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
chris:

lol, Becky... and hard on the bank account, i'd imagine.
  8:54pm
JakeGould:

Found this Stan Farlow LP on some auction site, “He Sounds Like Johnny Cash.” Not on Discogs, though. www.popsike.com...
Avatar 8:55pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

I'm sure Evan "Funk" Davies is turning over in his, well, 3-hour show preparation place at that comment.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm
chris:

it *is* fan-freaking-tastic, though! so happy to hear a block of twang back on fmu... thanks, Becky!
Avatar 8:56pm
Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Everyone be quiet, he's got some talking to do...
  8:58pm
P-90:

A show made up of all short "45" size songs is harder to program and perform than a show with long tracks.
Rex and Dave the Spazz are whizzes at this. They might have some tips. I'm sure it gets smoother with practice.
  9:00pm
P-90:

And THANKS @DJ HTRG!
Avatar 9:01pm
cory:

great show, thanks!
