	9:12pm Doug Schulkind: Our favorite restaurant in NYC was a Vietnamese place. For a long time it was called simply Vietnam, but later it changed to Doyers--the name of the street it was on. The place closed about two weeks before we moved to Pittsburgh. We went there so often, the waiters would yell out in their partial Englsih, "Spring Roll Girl!!" when my daughter walked through the door. When the place closed, we saw that as a sign that moving was the right choice. Once in Pittsburgh, the restaurant that was recommended to us most often was a family-style Vietnamese joint that has come to be our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. Thank you for reading my little story.

	🇰🇷 ♥ 9:17pm Ike: I don't know of any really good full-service Vietnamese restaurants in NYC. There are lots of Vietnamese places but they're all kind of disappointing. But we do have awesome bánh mì here in Sunset Park, Bklyn.
	9:31pm northguineahills: I saw Cuong Vu play at a gallery opening in 2001 that a Vietnamese-American friend had a room of pieces in. It was quite nice.

	9:12pm Doug Schulkind: Our favorite restaurant in NYC was a Vietnamese place. For a long time it was called simply Vietnam, but later it changed to Doyers--the name of the street it was on. The place closed about two weeks before we moved to Pittsburgh. We went there so often, the waiters would yell out in their partial Englsih, "Spring Roll Girl!!" when my daughter walked through the door. When the place closed, we saw that as a sign that moving was the right choice. Once in Pittsburgh, the restaurant that was recommended to us most often was a family-style Vietnamese joint that has come to be our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. 	🇰🇷 ♥ 9:17pm Ike: I don't know of any really good full-service Vietnamese restaurants in NYC. There are lots of Vietnamese places but they're all kind of disappointing. But we do have awesome bánh mì here in Sunset Park, Bklyn.

	9:47pm northguineahills: When I used to go to Mutek in Montreal (held in the last weekend in May), it would maybe be 23 C during the day (sometimes only 15 C) and around 10 C at night. Made NYC seem quite balmy.
