This is much better than any Blondie song from the late 90s has any business being.

pinkolives:

thank god you played that blondie song
  12:17am
P-90:

Good Morning Therese & Co.!

JakeGould:

Funny you played that. I tried to listen to “The Hunter” this weekend. I tried. I really tried. That album should be judged by its cover… So bad.

BLONDIE TRIVIA: "The Hunter" track "For Your Eyes Only" was written for the James Bond movie, but the producers didn't like it. Blondie was given the option of recording a different song with the same name, but the band declined. And that's how Sheena Easton got to sing the theme song to the Bond movie that followed "Moonraker."

JakeGould:

@BadGuyZero: Yeah, but you missed one other major bit of trivia… “The Hunter” is a horrible album.

Joe B:

Maybe play something by Amy Rigby? My girlfriend and I just got back from a house concert at Amy and Wreckless Eric's bungalow in Hudson. So much fun!

That sounds awesome, Joe!

As far as I know it's qu-ohm
Avatar 2:55am
BadGuyZero:

Pronounced a bit like the French 'gomme' but the q is a post-alveolar click
Avatar 2:55am
Sr.Blanco:

You're wellcome, but I have no clue how to pronounce it, maybe you have to be from South Africa to know that.
Avatar 2:56am
BadGuyZero:

My last comment cut-and-pasted from www.stampthewax.com...

That was accurate BadGuyZero!

"12XU" must be no picnic to pronounce, too.
Avatar 2:58am
BadGuyZero:

I bet it's a word that Starvin Marvin or one of the characters in "The Gods Must Be Crazy" pronounces with ease.

Thanks Therese.
