Always appreciate your Bluegrass/Country influence, Therese.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08am Andrew Waterloo:

Had to come here just to clickie star this Blondie track.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12am Therese:

This is much better than any Blondie song from the late 90s has any business being.
  12:15am pinkolives:

thank god you played that blondie song
  12:17am P-90:

Good Morning Therese & Co.!
  12:17am JakeGould:

Funny you played that. I tried to listen to “The Hunter” this weekend. I tried. I really tried. That album should be judged by its cover… So bad.
  12:20am slowbear:

Sup people
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am coelacanth:

howdy Therese and others
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am Andrew Waterloo:

I saw the premier of the Blondie video.. been hooked ever since
Avatar 12:27am BadGuyZero:

BLONDIE TRIVIA: "The Hunter" track "For Your Eyes Only" was written for the James Bond movie, but the producers didn't like it. Blondie was given the option of recording a different song with the same name, but the band declined. And that's how Sheena Easton got to sing the theme song to the Bond movie that followed "Moonraker."
  12:29am JakeGould:

@BadGuyZero: Yeah, but you missed one other major bit of trivia… “The Hunter” is a horrible album.
  1:16am Joe B:

Maybe play something by Amy Rigby? My girlfriend and I just got back from a house concert at Amy and Wreckless Eric's bungalow in Hudson. So much fun!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17am Therese:

That sounds awesome, Joe!
  1:21am Joe B:

Indeed it was. Such cool people!
  1:55am JakeGould:

@Therese: Everybody playing Ramelzee today!

Avatar 2:25am BadGuyZero:

Wait...there's not going to be any butter in Hell??? WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?!?!?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:26am Therese:

Makes you rethink your life, eh?
Avatar 2:28am BadGuyZero:

My afterlife.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35am Therese:

That too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:43am coelacanth:

this is beautiful.
Avatar 2:52am BadGuyZero:

Maybe GQOM is their radio station's call letters.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53am Ken From Hyde Park:

Yark, I must be losing my touch. Fell asleep during Dave Mandl and missed most of the show tonight. How are things going?
Avatar 2:53am Sr.Blanco:

I found this: www.dazeddigital.com...
  2:54am DJ_Guy:

As far as I know it's qu-ohm
Avatar 2:55am BadGuyZero:

Pronounced a bit like the French 'gomme' but the q is a post-alveolar click
Avatar 2:55am Sr.Blanco:

You're wellcome, but I have no clue how to pronounce it, maybe you have to be from South Africa to know that.
Avatar 2:56am BadGuyZero:

My last comment cut-and-pasted from www.stampthewax.com...
Avatar 2:56am Sr.Blanco:

That was accurate BadGuyZero!
Avatar 2:57am BadGuyZero:

"A post-alveolar click is made by your tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Like the sound people make when they are imitating horses galloping."
  2:57am Steve-O:

Hi Therese! Loved your show today, as is the usual. Have a wonderful week! =)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57am Therese:

I will have this down by next week. I promise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58am Ken From Hyde Park:

"12XU" must be no picnic to pronounce, too.
Avatar 2:58am BadGuyZero:

I bet it's a word that Starvin Marvin or one of the characters in "The Gods Must Be Crazy" pronounces with ease.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59am coelacanth:

Thanks Therese.
