RevReb - yeah i do this every year and can never remember...if you have swag for life there's some way to disperse it to djs on the air over the marathon in order to get in the running for prizes.
Last year I received an email a few days before the marathon that had a link to a page where you could set up your total Swag For Life pledge. Then when you pledged to individual shows there was a box to check to note that your pledge was part of your Swag For Life pledge.

@BGZ: I got that email last year, but not this year ....
Yes, sorry about that lack of a Swag for Life renewal email you guys. We are about to send an email out but the basic idea is: email Joe McGasko with your swag choices and/or changes in your monthly donation, and then to win prizes, make unpaid pledges on the website or over the phone. Joe's email is jmcgasko at wfmu dot org
Is it possible to divide a one-time pledge among several DJs? I'm trying to but it's telling me I must do $15 minimum, even though I am already doing this.
So if I make a one-time pledge now, there will be an opportunity at some point to indicate that it is part of my swag-for-life contribution? Is that correct?
Having spent years listening to that kind of stuff (the Million-And-One Strings Perform the Mamas and Papas Songbook) as a weird kid became one of my dirty secrets in later life, when as a snotty older kid I looked back on my earlier listening as bloodless pap. But Gaylord - Gaylord has no shame, he leans into it as a connoisseur!
Simon, you should mention that it is part of your Swag For Life pledge when you make the pledge. Mention that in the comments, and choose "Send me a Bill."
Swag For Life members also occasionally receive other little goodies in the mail. Like the WFMU ouija board fridge magnet that arrived last year or the year before!
Gaylord Fields, Chief Sonicnaut guiding us through time and space to stunning but lesser-known quadrants of the Musical Universe. All hail, listeners - and why not give a little shake of your moneymaker while you're at it.
