I had a hunch this was from Therese's marathon premium. I remember watching this Schoolhouse Rock cartoon when I was much younger.

When I was in the Jersey City hospital last year somebody brought me individually-wrapped Sour Patch Kids. I had no idea there was such a thing.

Cool looking but $4,000,000,000? Pork! $2,000,000,000 over budget!

Bob in DC and/or Virginia:

Therese, I have an embarrassing confession to make: I pledged to your show, or tried to anyway, but hit the wrong box and it got credited to another (very worthy) show. I've asked that it be reallocated to your show.

In the meantime, I encourage all other listeners to support Therese's show to make up for my boneheadedness!

Wikipedia says the Kelly twins are from Orange, NJ.
Avatar 12:44am

Scott Kelly was in space for 340 days. Just shy of a year. But he probably traveled more miles than he would had he been on Earth for a year.
Avatar 12:45am

Did Therese just say she's going to perform an exorcism on an orange?

Shaun(ununun):

Was thinking of mentioning William of Oranj before Therese dropped that.

Recently discovered part of my maternal ancestral emigration to US happened in wake of his reign. Unfortunately my paternal side is a bit untraceable without making a connection that I'm not ready to make.

But I don't know that your Jersey Oranges have anything to do with that, so mum, til y' mentioned it.

... scant naps (& 'millennial' raging): diffuser.fm... . Jon Wurster mentions how Jim O'Rourke functioned on only two hours of sleep during Superchunk's recording of 'Come Pick Me Up'. ...What's more millenial than '99 or raging than Jim O'Rourke(!)?

Way too late, this submission. Sleep, I could use.

If it wasn't so early on in the Marathon, I'd say Therese and Cheyenne were loopy from lack of sleep due to endless Marathon duties. As is, I'll consider them to suffer from "syntymähumala", a.k.a. "born drunk".

Anyone else able to see the Marathon Map? I get a blank page.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15am

@Handsome Gerrard: Where did you get to the marathon map? Is it on the pledge page? There a few bugs they are trying to fix up with the new pledge widget.
Avatar 2:32am
BadGuyZero:

Todd should be Human PA System.
Avatar 2:41am
Caryn:

Just pledged, and had to fill in all my address info etc. It used to be that if you were signed in, the billing info and the rest were already filled in, which was handy. Anyone else have that problem? Because I seriously hope that's just a glitch that gets fixed soon, since constantly filling in your info gets boring quick.
Avatar 2:47am
BadGuyZero:

They're still getting some of the glitches worked out. Right now Swag For Life members can't make pledges of differing amounts to different shows via the widget.
