Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Yesss! Terrestrial Fiveash... Just remember-NO Pottymouth! ToT would NOT approve.
Avatar 3:58pm Sir Slouch:

It's just lovely when you're groovin' to the Todd-o-phill-in and your friend texts you to find out your opinion on when REM jumped the shark
  4:02pm Jh:

Thanks for the Mr. Airplane Man. My education continues.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm KevinfromBayRidge:

With or with fill-ins, FMU's lineup today is better than any other radio station's for the last 40 years!
  4:07pm Jeff g.:

Surprise Fiveash! Sunshine on a cloudy Saturday.
Avatar 4:07pm Chris M.:

great show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm Matt F:

Fanks Chris!
Avatar 4:15pm Marcel M:

THE GREEN GOD. Fucking sick.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

It's interesting the difference between Great Society's 'Somebody to Love' & Airplane's: Society's sways like a young girl's curves you miss - Airplane's is sharp shock to the nerve endings like something from the lab & out the wires to the world...
& Barrence Whitfield's 'Rose' meets MC5's - & that's an accomplishment...
Yeah - this Mac attacks...
Avatar 4:17pm Marcel M:

So sick with the wah.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Devastating Live. Greeny - but so together as a band...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm Mike East:

Hittin' all the right buttons, Matt
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Okay:I'll level: 'Marquee Moon' album is the Ark of the Covenant. What am I missing not being totally fluent in the rest of their stuff?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Mike East:

I've been told Verlaine solo stuff is worth checking out, but I have yet to do it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28pm common:

bon! i think one of the best song endings ever recorded! thank you matt.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm Alex of Chicago:

Great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

When tunes are simple - that's when you have to bring it. The Mystery of AC/DC - the tones, the emphasis & energy, the Production - utterly unadorned but clear - it simply sounds so great...if it's so basic, how come there aren't bands & records like that all the time??...
Avatar 4:34pm acid casualty:

@rr live at the waldorf is pretty incredible. I like to play those tracks in jukeboxes 'cos ya get yr money's worth.
  4:34pm Jeff g.:

An absolute fave YLT jam.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

@ac: Oh yeah - isn't that mostly the same tunes before the album - w/ a few choice covers? I downloaded it & have it somewhere...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:08pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

This selection & sequencing has been a statement about Rawk'n'Roll.
  5:18pm JakeGould:

This "Little Willy" song is about an abortion. Little Willy will never go home.

And on a serious note, "Union City Blue" is a great song.

Released 9 April 1965 (UK) - 19 April 1965 (US)
John Lennon: "That was one of the earliest heavy-metal records made."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:53pm Gaylord Fields:

If you know not of what I refer, Paul told Ringo exactly what drum pattern to play on TTR. He also bogarted the lead guitar duties, coming up with that stinging little guitar figure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:53pm Matt F:

RR- Had no idea about the release date, I swear! Spooky...
Avatar 5:54pm glenn:

joe moretti, the guitarist on restless, is also the guitarist on brand new cadillac.
