Hi folks! I'm editing some of Doug's favorite crypto-fascist metadata right this instant! (Really more like saccharine techno-evangelist hoo-ha.) Read or edited anything interesting (or stupid) lately?

What better place to do nothing than Erehwon?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:05pm Webhamster Henry:

Interesting how the melody has bits of Happiness from Clark Gesner's You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:07pm Charlie:

Hello Ike (or 1ke)! Nice to see ya. Crypto-fascist metadata -- next round's on me!

Mentioned this elsewhere, got to see a bit of Richard Thompson on the Joan Baez Tribute on PBS, nice to see him in a (limited) role, mostly acoustic lead, got to sing part of 1 song.
Avatar 1:22pm geezerette:

Uncle Michael,Bob Balaban is in everything! Huge filmography.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:27pm melinda:

Interesting tidbit about Bob Balaban, UM.
  1:28pm famous original sugarwolf:

I know Bob Balaban's doorman
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm Parq:

Was just reading up on the original off-BW production (at Theater 80, later a revival movie house and now again an off-BW legit theater). Joe Raposo worked on it also, as musical director. Although he didn't write any of the songs, it seems to me that they strongly bear his personality. Probably his own work was influenced by his working on that show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm Charlie:

Hi Parq! I actually saw that production at Theater 80 St Marks when I was a kid! It made a huge impact on me. Then, when I was in high school, I went to a lot of revival films there. Also the Thalia uptown.
Avatar 1:33pm Roberto:

I saw Bob Balaban at a Chase ATM one time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm Parq:

God, but this Laurie track is haunting.
