Time for more nothingness...
(Anyone know why the 128k MP3 might work on my office computer when used from an archive, but not when streaming? The pop up works, so it's no big deal, but just curious...)
  12:03pm Cliff:

Hey Charlie & folks, I'm gonna attempt to put a computer back together during this show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04pm JP from KC:

Wow, Linton Kwesi Johnson -- what a WFMU fixture he was, back in the day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm listener james from westwood:

Ooh, I needed some Portishead today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm Charlie:

That LKJ album has stood the test of time.

What's the story on Linton Kwesi Johnson, Parq?
Avatar 12:41pm ndbob:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm Charlie:

Cliff -- LKJ -- UK-based so-called "dub poet" -- very political

  12:56pm Cliff:

Like quinoa: "keen-wah"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm Parq:

Cliff, nothing off-center, just that he was played heavily by FMU during his heyday in the late 70s and early 80s. I bought his album "Forces of Victory" on the strength of hearing him on FMU, and as Charlie says about the later album, it didn't disappoint.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm Jeff Golick:

Love this Roxy cut.

Hi Charlie! All assembled!
Avatar 12:58pm βrian:

Quinoa, quinoa won't be just any nah!"

Avatar 1:03pm geezerette:

it might be healthy but a little goes a long whey.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:03pm Parq:

By the way, Cliff, I dig the Addams gif on your profile page. Mrs. Parq and I are big Addams Family fans, and like many of the best couples nowadays, we regard Morticia and Gomez as role models.

Meant Moondog & Miles but your girlfriend's imaginary aspect is impressive.
You're a brave man Cliff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm Parq:
