@RRN63: I impressed a Dartmouth student last week by knowing that it is in New Hampshire (he was saying "north of New York" for us clueless euros). I only knew that because of your comments, so thanks for the instant cred

@fred: I lived in Santa Barbara, Cali. for 16 years. That's all the way across the U.S., diagonally. When I 1st got there - I said I was from NewHampshuh - & I got asked - 'What state is that in?' I said - it is a state. In New England. 'New England??' Yeah - you know - where Boston is. 'Boston??'...SanFran to L.A. is like RedSox tp Yankees all w/in one state...& all w/in this one piece of real estate stolen from the red people, built on black people's labor, wide swaths stolen from the brown people, & connected by rails built by yellow people...&tc. ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:12am Stanley:

Hi everyone.
Hi Jay - long time, how's it hangin'?
Avatar 7:19am Jay/London:

Avatar 7:22am DonJuanTijuana:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24am Stanley:

Hi Jay, great news. I'm just back from Japan. Loved it. (I'm just reminded that I, too, have a great girlfriend of 11 years!)
What are you up to in Berlin?
Avatar 7:25am Jay/London:

Hi Stanley oh just chillin and hope to see friends there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

There's Johnny Winter on the TX scene that the Elevators were about...& there are really early rekkids he does stuff like 'Gangster of Love' that are just the kewlest, WWOZ type stuff, so to speak - but he got skrewed bidness-wise I guess is the story - & disowned the whole mess - but they're just the greatest! & then he did 'Progressive Blues Experiment' 1968...
Arthur Brown produced by Pete Townshend. What a voice! What a performer!
Avatar 7:27am dale:

love this - arthur screams like a little girl!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29am Stanley:

I'm on a Great Cities of the World trip. Went to London last November, then Tokyo, now looking round for my next. Berlin has crossed my mind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Friends poem: 'People bring the broken pieces of their lives to Berlin - & @ night we hear them rattling together'...
Avatar 7:33am fred:

Berlin has been surprisingly resilient. Ten years ago I really thought it would be gentrified to death and Prague would take over. But that didn't happen, so they're doing something right
Avatar 7:41am Sem Chumbo:

Wonderful second set, Mike. Sweet spins.
  7:43am KP:

Ha. Having the radio and iphone on at same time is already providing exaggerated echo. And "Sorrow" is all slapback
Avatar 7:46am dale:

"say you're coo" reminds me of the human beinz "flower grave" - but all we ever got to hear was no no no
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar 8:09am dale:

is this a cool world or what?
  8:09am Howard:

Great show Mike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16am Mike Sin:

Thanks for sticking around folks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:21am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Names showing how to do justice to both the Power & the Pop. Frankly - I wish the magnificent Cheap Trick was just a touch more like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:58am Ken From Hyde Park:
