Listener comments!

  6:06am Mark R:

A nice bit of Friday weirdness to launch this demented rocket...
Avatar 6:09am pierre:

Bonjour Micah
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11am micah:

hello pierre hello mark
Avatar 6:14am Sem Chumbo:

Brother Stair sent me with the good news.
But I forget what that was.
Good morning, Micah, pierre and Mark R.
  6:14am Billy London:

Ohm morning fellow travelers!
  6:21am binky:

I assume that sci-fi story soundtrack was not part of the florian fricke recording? What was it from?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:22am micah:

its an old episode of x minus one binky
  6:29am binky:

Thanks! I was enjoying that, hadn't heard of X Minus One before, now I'm looking forward to tracking down some episodes :)
  6:33am JayD:

This Spectrefolk sounds great on headphones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51am maestroso:

G'morning Micah. Wow, that Niki Aukema track was pretty great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55am annie:

oops, late for class. up late watching a movie
  6:59am JayD:

This Mondo Lava track too
Avatar 7:01am Sem Chumbo:

Never too early.
  7:06am Randy Savage:

Good God. Just waking up to this. WFMU was left on my radio all night. EPIC LUCID DREAMING AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06am Goyim in the AM:

That is some seriously magical pronunciation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08am Goyim in the AM:

  7:13am franny:

This is one of the best shows. On wfmu. Spiritualize it. They were chanting I A O.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14am micah:

thank you franny very nice to read those words from you
  7:20am Billy London:

Ganesha! Jai!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22am Goyim in the AM:

This is quite lovely music. Baba Shiva Rudra Balayogi seems to be fairly orthodox and not an exploiter -- possibly the real deal in a sense?
  7:22am franny:

Adesh Adesh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31am micah:

yes goyim you dont necessarily have to be a powermonger to be on this show
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:34am Goyim in the AM:

Excellent. The occasional non-charlatan is good to hear!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46am ausmanx:

ah yes, the ananda marga are famous in australia for the hilton hotel bombing in sydney. the government thought they were going to bring about revolution here www.theaustralian.com.au... what a shame they didn't.
Avatar 8:01am Sem Chumbo:

Always an enlightening visit Friday mornings, Micah. Thanks and see you again next time, if the de-programmers don't get to me first.
  8:15am melinda:

Morning Micah and friends
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17am micah:

morning melinda
Avatar 8:23am Wild Neil:

PEACE all. WOW read the article ausmanx...the quote ""Australia therefore is presented with a new phenomenon, that of an organisation claiming to be spiritual and non-violent but harbouring militant fanatics determined to go to extraordinary lengths, including the use of violence, to achieve its ends, whatever they may be at any given time."
WOW, how is a government supposed to deal with it and still be a free society??
Avatar 8:25am Wild Neil:

This all reminds me of the 70's, the weathermen and other radical organziations....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25am annie:

i almost emigrated to aurtralia, long ago, i am SO glad i didn't. no offence to our Oz friends
  8:28am JayD:

Love when tracks sound like they're being played on a warped record, like this 'Wild River'.
  8:30am melinda:

Ananda marga sounds familiar to me. There was a group who ran a preschool or did something next to the church I went to as a child and I think it was them. The playgrounds were adjacent to each other.
Avatar 8:31am pierre:

wow what is that wonderful synth ed music that you're using to speak Micah ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33am micah:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39am ausmanx:

having done a lot of travelling in the past year or so, i am starting to think that, on balance, australia is the most decent place on this rather odd planet right now. perhaps because the cynically exploited fear factor hasn't taken hold to quite the same extent here [yet]...
  8:42am JayD:

Is this Jello Biafra going nuts on the bongos?
  8:46am @egould310:

Thanks micah. Good show. Time to hit the beach for a jog.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57am annie:

great show today micah! thanks!
