I worked in a thrift store - & played them - & a Polish lady who came in flipped out.
In balancing the Prog & Rawk as Phoenix does, they remind me a tad of Captain Beyond: a devoted cult following, but too Rawkin's for the Proggies & too Proggie for the Metalheads @ the time commercially...Phoenix adds the Romanian 'Folk' sound of course...& '75 is overlapping w/ the Ramones & Pistols in the West practically - but we could expect a delay...

it's possible that i mention this every time that you focus on rock stuff from this area in the 80's. but i traded hardcore tapes and was pen pals with a guy from Ljublana in c. 1980-1981. i have always wondered what happened to that dude, given what went on over the next few years.
