Hello bob and radio friends
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42am Hughie Considine:

Hey Bob! The Necessaries are just one of the bands I've discovered through your program. Had to hunt down the LP and I play it often. Has that great sort of New York astringency that somehow feels related to Polyrock.

Hiya, Bob. Steely Dan! Haven't heard this one in some time Thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48am guy mauve:

Saw the Necessaries play the Edge with Chris Spedding.

Ernie Brooks is one of the nicest musicians one could meet.

...'Jazz w/ the Jazz taken out'...

Hudson's organ playing is key on this track. The vocal arrangement is fantastic too with Levon/Richard trading off or together.

Diggin' Dalton!

TheBand is the kinda thing that, as soon as it existed, sounded/seemed like it simply always had: Instant FolkMusic.
  10:41am Dave Heasman:

Ah that jingle - it flew the pond and was stolen for English pirate radio, must be 65-6.
  10:47am dinatekno:

Wow, that Weekend song is beautiful!
