hello Therese and non-Thereses
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10pm @sugarwolf@:

Just saw some pictures online recently which claimed to be Roddy McDowall from the Tempest and it must have been an inspiration for the Maxwell Demon makeup.
  10:12pm JakeGould:

Hello! I appreciate the joy this brings me!
  10:13pm Old Dave:

The one place I can go to not know who won the Super Bowl,
or who was made to kiss Trump ass today. Or did both in reverse order...
Thank you FMU Refuge!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm @sugarwolf@:

It has naked Ewan McGregor! That sounds good to me!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:21pm @sugarwolf@:

Bedazzler: maybe Michael's/A.C.Moore/Joanne's???
  10:23pm jeanli:

ORDER NOW!!! https://www.getbedazzler.com/?mid=1627308
and yes The Velvet Goldmine was a good movie, that is all. :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm coelacanth∅:

i did not know bedazzler was a thing...an inanimate object.
Avatar 10:24pm Druseph:

  10:32pm Old Dave:

Therese, You are too kind. Except when pointing out our stupid 70s fetish distractions.
We were too busy stapling shiny shit to our jeans to notice Ronald Reagan had come along then and intended to make us irrelevant.
Guess what? We are totally irrelevant now, and more painfully so if you are someone who reads things like books.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:34pm Therese:

@Old Dave- If that's all there is, then let's keep bedazzling.
  10:37pm Old Dave:

Your show is terrific.. I surrender Therese!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37pm coelacanth∅:

...is that all there is? - is that all there is? if that's all there is, my friends, then let's keep bedazzling...
  10:43pm JakeGould:

Someone please Bedazzle “Fuck Trump” on a crop top. Or a jean jacket.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45pm Fuzzy:

The jean jacket -- I'd buy that!
  10:45pm Marc15:

The theme to "Charmed"
  10:46pm Marc15:

@Jake That would be great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm Fuzzy:

Lumburgh is that you?
  10:47pm jeanli:

and then again, as I listen to the Moz I might consider VAJAZZLING http://www.killahbeez.com/2010/03/04/vagina-bedazzler-vajazzled/
  10:48pm Old Dave:

Oh yes! This was our theme song back in the Peace Corps early 80's. Sick and drunk in the RP,
post Marcos. It held up across class and gender not knowing what would come next...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53pm coelacanth∅:

how soon is now is not on my copy of meat is murder.
  10:55pm Old Dave:

Clay, so far.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57pm PMD:

Been listening tonight. Will continue to. Great show as always!

Hey, New Zealand-ites... Going to South Island in 2 weeks - Need anything from the US?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm Ken From Hyde Park:

@coel - Looking at the wiki. It says the UK release of Meat Is Murder has it.
Avatar 10:59pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

How much worse can McGasko do in the basement than he does in the main library? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03pm coelacanth∅:

Ken, Thanks; but what i see is that that song was added to both the uk and us releases later, after it became a hit, then deleted again for the 2011 cd reissues.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:04pm coelacanth∅:

(the 1985 uk issue does not have it)
  11:05pm Old Dave:

Thanks for making sports irrelevant, Therese. Who cares who won the Game?
Resist! Nice music is better for the soul...
Avatar 11:08pm Hoboken Jack:

Howdy! Here since turning off the Super Bowl broadcast in Patriots-hating disgust.
  11:09pm Old Dave:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm Tome:

.. hello therese , another great sunday evening .
Avatar 11:16pm Linda Lee:

my gosh Therese. i'm 23 again. Human League! :-)
Avatar 11:19pm Linda Lee:

fantastic. so far away from the surreal present ..
  11:21pm Old Dave:

{holding hands over ears} DONT tell me anything about the Football Game, now or ever.
I will assume Trump was there and took credit for whichever team won.
  11:28pm Old Dave:

Austra is encouraging, thanks!
  11:34pm Old Dave:

Mark, on the other hand, is scaring the dogs over here.
Good night all!
Avatar 11:40pm Linda Lee:

people did actually go over the Falls in a barrel, before it was made illegal.
Avatar 11:40pm Linda Lee:

first person to do so successfully was a woman named Annie Taylor.
Avatar 11:44pm Linda Lee:

she actually needed money for her retirement & looked to monetize fame! you can see her photo here: www.atlasobscura.com...
Avatar 11:44pm Linda Lee:

1901, before Social Security.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49pm coelacanth∅:

she probably figured she'd either get fame money and live happily ever after, or die like all those before her, which was better than living in abject poverty.
Avatar 11:50pm Linda Lee:

yes. unfortunately, the plan didn't pan out.
Avatar 11:51pm Linda Lee:

she did send her cat over first as a test case, successfully ~ so assumed she would live.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52pm coelacanth∅:

my aunt had a similar attitude and she planned out exactly how long she could live the way she liked to live on what she had saved. she died of cancer with <$1000. in a nyc apartment a couple years ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:53pm coelacanth∅:

it didn't pan out? she didn't get that much money from the fame?
Avatar 11:53pm Linda Lee:

no. the link has her story.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55pm coelacanth∅:

ah...i just read the rest.
that sucks.
Avatar 11:55pm Linda Lee:

you can see the poor cat too!
  11:58pm PMD:

So it is the next Meryl Streep movie?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:03am coelacanth∅:

Thanks Therese
