Blustery, with a northwest wind 13 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Last galoshes I bought were some years ago in the Bronx, and I needed new ones & didn't have any when I moved recently to Andover NJ, and I don't know where you can get those now -- it was hard finding them even then -- and was so glad our snowfalls had been limited to less than 2"...until now. :-(

I used to read Bukowski, Brautigan and other poets on college radio in the 80s, and bring in people to read their own work, as long as it was filthy. People loved it, even though they think they hate poetry. They just hate MOST poetry, like I do. My listeners did hate it when I played whole sides of the Hobbit LP or Leif Garret sings the Who...

In grad school I taught a poetry class for a couple semesters, I remember there was this one kid who was really into Edgar Allan Poe because he was from Baltimore. End of the semester project was for everyone to bring in the worst poem they could find, recite it to the class, and then give an analysis on wtf was wrong with it.
