This is really weird. I watched Paralyzed on YouTube just this afternoon and saw a comment under the video about T-Bone Burnett's playing the drums, which was news to me.

[ salute to our neighbors in Portland. yes, they have KBOO, sister to our dearly-departed KRAB-fm. But WFMU is still the best station in the known world. ]

This is some extremely shooby music.

Shooby was indeed stout hearted!

rabbit? Stupid autocorrect!

Kecak is cool - but also composed in the 30s by Walter Spies. Still, it has the air of authenticity. Of course whooping on a theremin is also not particularly authentic!

Listener Robert:

Interesting that while 2 of my favorite on-air people are raising dough on WFMU, I'm raising dough in a warm oven. This winter I started making apple wine-cider, so I decided, what the heck, a packet of yeast is more than I need per batch, so I started baking a couple weeks ago too.
  7:57pm
Listener Robert:

When I get drunk on apple wine, I start wondering stuff like whether there are homosexual yeast who mate a to a & alpha to alpha.
  7:59pm
Listener Robert:

I always imagine the yeast as drunks who, when they're done fermenting, sleep it off at the bottom of the reactor.

Congrats to winners and to the DJs who made the goal!
