When I bought his first solo LP "If I Could Only Remember My Name" years ago, the store clerk opened the two-part cover to show photos of all the musicians who worked on the album, including Jack Cassidy, Jorma Kaukonen, Jerry Garcia, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell...He said "along with David, imagine how much drugs were consumed in making this album!"

@Sem/fred: I understand the fear, we didn't believe T***p would win the general either, culturally deaf to what some of our citizens were capable of agreeing to. You could hope the Glorious Non-Greatness of the present United States will dissuade a majority from granting Le Pen a second round victory (like it deflated hard-right enthusiasm in the Netherlands) and current polls are inclined to show that - but it's no given. Those against must actively speak up and defend civilization.

@NGH: I follow John Oliver, so I saw that (his attempt at French was competent, but accordion is only for English tourists) He was optimistic though. Le Pen has support from Jews because they both hate Arabs, from Arabs because they both hate Jews, from Blacks because they both hate Arabs, from Whites because we just hate everyone. Hate is her stuff, and it sells. It's like what really unites people

Get better Fred, and be careful w/ the blood clotting/not-clotting. Very happy you're doing well!

My father has blood clotting problems, so he takes blood thinners. Thankfully for me, I have Von Willebrand's (false hemophilia), so my blood clotting abilities are counteracted by my lack of ability to produced enough proteins to clot my blood) When I bleed, I bleed (it scares my wife). However, that doesn't bode well for my family history of vascular embolisms (My father's first aneurysm was when he was 47), so, I have that to look forward to in six years.
