YES! Tristeza are so amazing. I was fortunate enough to see them at Brownies in NYC about 15 years back when James LaValle was still in the band. It was such a great show. It was the 'Dream Signals in Full Circles' album they were supporting. Thanks, Jeffrey.

Cd's went down mostly because laptops and desktops stopped putting in cd players for the most part and then the mp3 world. My NAD Cd player just died. Get a Arcam digital to analog converter bluetooth to your good stereo :)

jkeigh: yeah, I guess you're right. There were some pretty amazing bargains to be found, digging for records back then. BnowB: good suggestions, I will check.
Also, tube amps gratefully accepted by the Shrunken Planet meister, yours truly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:11am

Ike, I was really only kidding about the tube amp. I suppose it would be nice to have one, but I have a good receiver now. Thanks anyway!
Avatar 7:27am
Tusalava:

A tube amp would be pretty wonderful.
My sister's partner used to build high end tube amps - much fancier than anything we could buy. There was one in the living room. We would turn off the lights and sit and listen to music; it was cozy and beautiful, like sitting around a fire.

BnowB:

I just got this NAD receiver which is really nice at garage sale for 20 bucks. Works great and has a nice tuner receiver for wfmu ;) yay Right now I'm listening thru an old table top by KHL. Neighbor hand down. Radio Lives :)
