Can you believe Carole King and Gerry Goffin lived across the street from me in the early ‘60s when I was growing up in Sheepshead Bay. I had no idea until I read her book. For all I know, my friends and I shoveled out their car for a buck apiece (as we did every time there was a big snow storm)
