	6:52pm Dean: I've had a love/not love connection to Mehldau, due in part to his ambition to try just about anything. On reflection, I see that that's a good characteristic. For example, on Largo he covers a Radiohead tune; it's the only way I can hear and enjoy Radiohead. But look at that discography, particularly the sideman roster! Those two Charles Lloyd records are gorgeous.
