Thursday evenings on the Drummer Stream are a dream come true for me. Flash Strap and Little Danny are the fellows behind two of my all-time favorite music sharing blogs.

For too long I didn't respond to the voice in the back of my head that said, these guys would be fantastic radio hosts. I could tell by the way they write so evangelically about the music they love. The desire to turn others on to the stuff that turns them on was just dripping all over everything they did with their blogs.

And that love, and smarts, and passion has just kept on oozing all over their stupendous broadcasts here on Thursday evenings on the Drummer Stream.

What a remarkable thing!

re: the numero group. i have the honor of having spun records while rob s. was in the audience years ago at area bar. i was fill-in dj along with another fill-in dj; for the regulars who were not there that night. rob s. was there to while in town and was going to catch up with said regulars who were not there and i briefly said 'hi'. i am 100% confident he would not remember our interaction at all.

Ken, Rob & I had a great evening in Chicago a few years back which began spinning 45s at the Virgin Hotel & ended with me asleep on Rob's couch with no one else in the house while the Spanish karaoke bar across from the house raged still in the early hours.
