The frogs returned to the pond in back of my apartment last Saturday -- glorious cacophony! Keep playing that studio version of "My Reservation's Been Confirmed" -- I saw the Hermits on the Best of Ed Sullivan, and it was pretty obvious that their regular guitar player wasn't playing on the single.

I was fortunate to see Beth Orton record an episode of “Sessions at W.54th” (PBS) in... ‘98? 99? She was in a fragile/vulnerable condition. Literally started weeping mid-song and had to leave the stage for 20min to get collected.

180 gm vinyl is an audiophile invention, supposed to sound better than thinner vinyl. Usually much more expensive.

Doctorjazz I think 180 gram is a sham. A good or bad pressing has no optimum weight. Old Dynagroove records were great -- they were 140g or less
