I say ad nauseam - years & years & years ago on PBS Newshour there was a Climate Scientist who said that Higher Temp.s & Rising SeaLevels (more moisture) will mean fewer storms - but larger! & what this will mean is more 'slam dunks': imagine the baskets in basketball getting lower & lower...It's likely to just get more & more 'interesting' on the Coasts...

I'm old enough to recall rekkid players with 16 / 33 / 45. Yes, 16 RPM was mostly talk/stories. Recall some kids' recordings. When I got older used to fool with rekkids on the wrong speed. I've heard that some WFMU DJs do that on rare occasion.

Weather Underground says it's still snowing but you couldn't prove it by what I'm able to see out my window in the dark. In Manhattan, it's been what it almost always is -- a boatload of slush.

Oh yes - what a fantastic reissue this is! Beautiful package, thoughtful expansion of the original 2-LP set, and some remarkable recordings.

Then, a year or so later, saw The Byrds during their "Fifth Dimension" tour at Village Gate, now Le Poisosn Rouge. Life was never the same after that show.

Weather Underground says it's supposed to get down to 38F/3C, and I really don't want to bring my plants inside/cover the rest.
