Spooky psych forever. I actually did have too much to dream last night, a rare nightmare that I woke myself out of at 4:30 AM.

The only part of last night's dream I remember is a large cat sitting upright, human style, in an armchair,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:22pm
chresti:

Hi!
  9:23pm
Jonathan:

My cat has been in that exact pose. Its freaky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24pm

Man, I'd love to find the sheet music for this! It would be devilishly fun to play (or try to play)
Avatar 9:24pm
TDK60:

Mine was, being asked to donate blood to some poor folks by a street portrait artist and gang. I was ok with it but then was imprisoned in a dark basement, told I'd be locked up for 48 hours. No! So I created a window, escaped, and woke.

Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, Jonathan. I'm pretty sure I remember Marty McSorley saying he wanted to have you play "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying" from Megadeth. If you could find somewhere to put that, that would be great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm
coelacanth∅:

i often realise i'm dreaming when i'm dreaming but still rarely can take control of it without awakening. i'm a light sleeper so i think it makes sense.
Avatar 9:42pm

The prior piano piece was devilish yet Just. // This sounds influenced by gamelan.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48pm
coelacanth∅:

last night i awoke just because i was about to get on a platform for a subway without knowing what trains or buses would get me home. i wasn't worried. i somehow never learn the system but wing it and i always get home, but someone i slightly know was there and we apparently lived together. he/she insisted on helping me and i was torn between taking the directions and doing it how i always do it.
fascinating.
...but that minor dilemma woke me up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:52pm
chresti:

you start thinking about it to resolve it- that could wake me up
Avatar 9:53pm

chresti @9.55 i've directed others' dreams several times by entering into their aural environment. if they're speaking out load they're open to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm

...or maybe vulnerable to it is more accurate; but i've never caused someone else's dream to turn sour.

coelacanth∅:

yes just a friendly kick!
...i don't know that i ever have done anything besides becoming part of their dreams. in some way. even if it's making some sound from across the room. i once pushed an electric can opener in the kitchen, which was next to my bedroom, and softly called for a dog (we didn't have a dog) to come eat. she said something like "when did he get here".

'75. At first thought it was 1950s tape music.
Avatar 11:21pm
TDK60:

It's 1975 tape music, right?
  11:23pm
Jonathan:

Not sure if tape is utilized in this one specifically, I think its just him whistling into a microphone, but on this album, definitely.
Avatar 11:25pm
TDK60:

Recorded onto tape at least, heh.
  11:32pm
Jonathan:

Now this is a tape-heavy zone.

Well, it's been a full sonic menu tonight, DJ JW. Soon I'll move to horizontal furniture. Maybe I'll dream I'm a roadie for The Electric Prunes in '66 L.A. Guys in Mod-cum-hippy corduroy jackets, long hair, boots; women in paisley skirts, beads. The club owner won't mind if we puff some reefers out back. Sounds like a comforting dream...
  11:40pm

After all this talk about dreams, its only fair to want to go experience. Thanks for listening TDK
