	3:38pm howard in nyc: A while back, I had given my at the time girlfriends father a christmas gift, a compilation from Aretha's Columbia years. He was polite, but a bit chagrined because it didn't have any of her well-known Atlantic hits. A couple of weeks later I saw him, he thanked me profusely, after a couple of listens he thought it was one of the best records he ever heard.

Done by the hands of thousands of Canadians, no two are alike. There are many still in circulation, but they will gradually vanish as the bills are replaced with the new type. A collectible souvenir worth keeping.

He was polite, but a bit chagrined because it didn't have any of her well-known Atlantic hits. A couple of weeks later I saw him, he thanked me profusely, after a couple of listens he thought it was one of the best records he ever heard.
