This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

Oh Nuggets & Garage - yer pressin' my buttons...was just thinking about PrettyThings being betwixt Stones & Who sorta - whilst also being the nearest analog to US Garage in the UK, in some ways...& Count5 were doing yARdbiRds anyhow!...sounds like Seeds to me...

Yeah - Rhino blew it putting Global Garage in NuggetsII w/ the British stuff...needs its' own dang Box !! Program from NewZealand called 'Retrospect 60s Garage Punk' has GlobalGarage as a regular feature...I dunno how he finds it!!

Great rekkids! Sometimes I wonder why I like Garage & Punk so much when there's so little there in Form - but so is the Blues a simple Form...Here's the thing: if you play something 'Simple' - you really have to Bring It to make it work...Try it!

that scene where he badgers Cassavettes about how much his house costs, and costs to keep up is so incredible. Columbo's class-hero elements are rarely so crystal clear as in that scene

The best detectives imo are NOT cops (like Marlowe, the best). It's crucial that they be outside the formal law. Columbo is the exception – he subverts the system's biases and uses it to bring down exclusively the powerful.
