Is "Imigradan" by Les Filles de Illighadad African ? I know that is a whole continent, so which country? They are really awesome. For some reason I have a thing for African music. Staying home working from home with 8 yo son who has a 102 fever. Poor kid, he feels weird. Cold then hot.

@Wild Neil: They sound south Maghrebin to me, southern Algeria, Mali, Niger, etc. Kind of like that Samba Toure song that Scott played yesterday (but, of course, also very different).

@sphere: I would recommend Spinning Swiftly in Office Chair while cranking Woo Lae Oak.

The use of headphones may complicate this maneuver but I have faith it will all be fine.

Chris from DC:

Finding staring into space works pretty well too.
Avatar 2:02pm
sphere:

there are a few classy Korean restaurants named Woo Lae Oak (Seoul, NYC, DC).

@ Rev - i would gladly do it but the walls of my cube are so high that no one would see me and i would not be embarrassed as you wish.
Avatar 2:04pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

if you think of it, a cube is only a SPHERE with edges. Therefore it's all in your mind.
Also: I have no idea what I'm saying.

Sad that 'wa wa wa' didn't capture the heart of America like 'Aaayeee' or 'Sit on it!'.

Walla Walla used to have a third Walla. It's also the background talking capital of the world. Or rhubarb. One of those. I can't remember which.

"Sit on it!". "Up your nose with a rubber hose." Sweathogs. Sweathogs is almost Shakespearean if you give it a chance.

I was similarly saddened that Hello Larry's catchphrase 'Tie a can to it, Ruthie' went nowhere, as did the show. It was really great to see a sitcom set in Portland OR, with the great MacLean Stevenson, no less.
