Sam Segal:

Chresti! A Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres crossover episode would've been a classic. Wait, are you saying that actually did happen?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15pm
coelacanth∅:

those 2 + petticoat junction all mixed in various formulations from time to time
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17pm
Sam Segal:

Alright, in that case, I'd like to see a three-way cross-over episode: Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, and Cheers.

still b/p:

Only caught Happy Days in bits in its day. When I've caught it since, the wretchedness of its lazy, vapid LCD grind asserts itself plainly. Networks didn't have to make almost any good TV until reent years. So they mostly...didn't.
Avatar 11:21pm
Mayuko:

@Sam yah. apparently flying east-bound (from Japan to the US) is harder than west-bound flights, jet lag wise.
Avatar 11:24pm
northguineahills:

90% of the shows I liked as a kid, are terrible when rewatching (even as a teen), I picked up on Mash reruns by age 6, and it kept w/ me that I did the theme song for a piano recital at age 8. Although, there' some filler, it holds up. Columbo also had some decent writing, even if it was formulaic (and I mostly watched that in the late 90s).
Avatar 11:26pm
northguineahills:

Don't remind me Mayuko! (I love keeping nearly on based w/ the west-bound Pacific flights, and on the way back by the time I land, it's the third time I've seen the sun during the flight (at least it seems) (see Narita-O'Hare flights, ugh).
Avatar 11:27pm

I got to talk to Luc before he died, b/c a friend of mine performed and composed w/ him (dj olive). I might be the only person w/ the recordings from that Kitchen performance.
Avatar 11:57pm
northguineahills:

(my log costume was ridiculous [she made it from felt, got twigs, gave me makeup [no more then her]. Her log lady was perfect, even got thrift store giant glasses for the look])

(I was tempted to break out into the Ren & Stimpy "log song" the whole time)...
