Mayuko, Looking at the header gif on today's playlist I was reminded that there is a scene in Tarkovsky's Solaris consisting of one of the protagonists driving through a city (A metaphor, i guess, for other journeys) -- which was filmed in Tokyo.

Sadly, I think I'll miss next week's show: there's a 3-day festival for the 15th anniversary of Sublime Frequencies, with Kink Gong play next Saturday. This should be an expensive weekend

Michel Henritzi scord a mesmerizing video of a train in (I think) Tokyo (it was called "train to Odaiba", I think that's part of Tokyo)

@Ike In my homeland living people would send their phantoms out of their bodies too sometimes, when there's some obsession involved. did that never happen in the US?
  12:26pm

Hello Mayuko and vertighosts!
Avatar 12:30pm

@fred I'm guessing that train to Odaiba might be monorail (and it is indeed in Tokyo). It runs between buildings and then over the bridge/water. Very nice sight. I used to ride it often without no particular destination in mind.

@melinda I would like to think that my senses are open and reacting to nature as they should, when strong wind makes me feel lonely or a grey day melancholic. I want to think that it's a sign that you are not shut off and so it's reacting to trees and all.
At the same time I do want to know how not to be shaken by those things. that's what I was thinking while putting these music together!
