Just scored some LSD capsules, they are the BOMB!

just keep it away from the heroin, Aaron. it might detonate.
good morning Scott!

any other Glasgow listeners old enough to remember when the 13th Note sounded like this at two in the afternoon? noice choons
  9:06am
Chi Bill:

LSD was the bomb for me but at 60 'shrooms are my fav. Like this song.
Avatar 9:07am
Aaron Working In Newark:

Shroom capsules are the bomb. I actually do grind mine up and put them in caps. :)

I lost a decade due to weed. Bong hits for breakfast, and whiskey at 10am.
"Drugs are a counterfeit Holy Ghost experience"
-Pastor Mark Gentry, Alamogordo NM, circa 1996 AD.
Hey, I think drugs should be legalized so the Mafia doesn't make so much money. It worked for Portugal. I think used in moderation they are probably ok. OK, I will get off my drug soapbox now. @Aaron, go to an art museum straight, then high, let us know what you think. Or an Art Gallery if you have one near you. Nature is pretty amazing too, but mainly in the summer when its warm and the birds are singing.

Hey there Scott!
Avatar 9:08am
Linda Lee:

i'm utilizing amanita extract to help me manage lyme disease. non hallucinogenic.
Avatar 9:10am
Linda Lee:

some of us are destined for that path, for unique reasons. prohibition has no intrinsic logic, though. not when so many extremely dangerous substances are freely available.
  9:10am
Chi Bill:

Good idea Aaron!!! Good Idea Wild Neil!!! Hi Linda Lee, now I have to google amanita. Hi Scott, jolly good show start.

good morning
Avatar 9:12am
Linda Lee:

the drug war is now 115 years old, dating from the Harrison Act of 1914. that's the prohibition model. i'd say that's enough. of course, now the drug war is a matter of geopolitics & not drugs, so it will not end.

amanita muscaria. mushroom used for many purposes for a long time. :-)

Good morning everyone! Stepped on that opener, not clean. Mark that in your box scores!

hi all!
@LL does the amanita help? I thought it was poisonous.
  9:22am
Colin & Dani in Durham, uk:

Canny noise, this
Avatar 9:22am
Wild Neil||Peace All:

@NGH-now that I have not used weed since 1995, I wonder what it would be like using the newest grade of ultra potent weed and ATE it rather than SMOKED it. I ate some weed once in 1984 or so and it was like a huge endorphin filled rush.
@Melinda-it is also known as Fly Agaric. I think its produced in "reindeer juice" (pee). Santa Clause is red for this reason also probably.
Avatar 9:24am
Linda Lee:

hi melinda! i feel the amanita is helping. it's a good general tonic. the mushroom isn't poisonous. it has a long history of use in medicine.
Avatar 9:25am
Diezel Tea:

Hi Scott. I don't wanna leave my desk for a smoke because of this Pelt track.
  9:25am
Chi Bill:

Interesting, WikidPeedia says amanita muscaria is poisonous but can be reduced by parboil but that is a hallucenator, so much to explore (and learn to spell). This sitar is altereing my mind
Avatar 9:26am
Linda Lee:

noooo, Wild Neil, it's not produced in reindeear pee! :-D we have it all over the northeast. i have it here on the lawn in the catskills. i don't harvest it, though. too near the road. my extract comes from Maine.
Avatar 9:26am
Linda Lee:

don't forget that wiki doesn't always have the best info. there's a lot of crap there.
Avatar 9:27am
Linda Lee:

rodents & other critters eat tiny bits of the amanita all the time. i don't guess they would do that if it killed them. :-D
Avatar 9:28am

Damn, I just checked the comments and y'all are a bunch of degenerates with your drugs and satan worshipping and men kissing men and wearing hats indoors!

@WN I remember a comment board discussion a while back regarding hallucinogenic reindeer pee but I don't recall what variety they ate.

Alright friends, I gotta run home to care for the pets. See everyone or at least hear the show again next time. Muah.

This all sounds familiar. I was prescribed "poison mushroom" decades ago for cluster headaches. They stopped each episode. Fortunately those episodes are history now.

Y'all are too much fun! Must make like working now. Muah!
Avatar 9:31am

@Melinda-on THAT show some of the characters drank the muscimol in reindeer pee.
Avatar 9:33am

@Frankem ~ that's great news! franly there's a hell of a lot of propaganda shat about as 'information' against botanical medicine, only because it generally can't be patented & Big Pharma has a direct line into public discourse.

gosh, was Ry Cooder listening to Jack Rose when he played for the 'Performance' sound track? this is almost identical to the main theme!

I saw Jack Rose once at Union Pool, and then afterwards, while packing up, he downed a fifth of whisky like I would a beer on a hot day, all at once. My friend said, he's not going to last long. A year later, he was correct. But damn, could he play that guitar! RIP*respect.
Avatar 9:53am

now i'm curious about who came first. i think it might've been Cooder. but of course the guitar style is much older ..

@Wild Neil - that Beefheart story appears to be true, according to Drumbo John French, but don't assume you'l like Ry Cooder based on him being on that record any more than you should assume you'd like David Gates and Bread just because Gates played/produced on the first few Beefheart singles . That said, you may well like Cooder and/or Gates for completely different reasons. I'm no expert on either one - both seem boring for different reasons.
  10:16am

@ northguineahills - that's a great story, but sadly not a medically-unexpected one.
