@TDK: i think it might be more a traditional composition, not sure, but the version on Grounation is by Count Ossie – the connection is that Ras M is hugely influenced by Count Ossie, and partly because of this he plays the drums on Jimmy Cliff's cover. I was unclear before

KCRW's Reggae Beat with Hank Holmes and Roger Steffens,, starting in 1980. The first half was Roger interviewing/talking (about Marley, mostly) and HH played Ska, Rock Steady, Roots, early Dancehall , during the other half ( taped a couple years of Hank's portion of the show)
